GREAT site, one small problem

OK, I joined this site a couple of weeks ago
and I have to say, its great! I've met alot of new people
and helped them. People have helped me as well. Your probably thinking
why this sounds like a goodbye. Well...

the best way to put this is as a question...
can people who are being rude (typing rude and hurtful things) be reported?

If so how?

I know I might have asked this somewhere before. But the answer I got
was to report the post. But when I did this the thread was simply closed.
and now the mean person is back to haunt me.

that is the only concern I have now. thank you for your help.

The report post button is in the top right corner of your post and it looks like this:

If a thread is closed, you are always able to send a private message to a moderator with a link to the thread with the problem.

What it sounds like is trolling, which is following someone around on thier posts and making mean comments, you should not only report the post with reason, trolling me, AND also send the person's TTC name to a Mod in a Private message, GL!
