On a few threads lately, I have been noticing that some people are quoting text that isn't there. Like, for example, I was on a thread, and Cracka jaxx posted something to the extent of," Sha wasn't a bad person, I knew him personally. He just told the truth." or something like that. But, that post isn't even on the thread, nor have I ever seen it before. And I don't think that we have trollers here.

Could it possibly be some of the new mods snipping edges? (deleting a post, but not deleting the people who quoted it after?)

Not that I am trying to make the new mods sound bad, but I have just noticed it more often than not lately.

You might be viewing the thread AS it's being edited, and we haven't gotten down to those posts yet. Sometimes we have to leave or handle something else in the meantime, or be dealing with a large thread that takes time to edit. Or, we could just miss something! :P

I've seen that. The thread had like 2 pages, then it was reduced to one page, and certain people were still quoting the people's posts that were deleted...

No, that thread had alot more posts in it about other members being great people and other people were saying they were mean so they took those posts out.

OT : Just use the "noparse" code to prevent BBCodes from displaying.
For example,

[noparse][quote=Insert name here] Insert message here [/quote][/noparse]

will display as:

I guess it was deleted either because I was talking about someone who was banned, or I was quoting someone who said something rude about him.

You mean like that? Yes thats fake I know don't ban me please. I haven't been seeing stuff like that, I've been seeing stuff like a random person posting a noob comment. As long as it doesn't degrade the person they fake-quote then I don't think it's much of an issue.
