Isn't it weird
You know since the DDOS attack we have been getting slow loading and Server too busys now its all like quiet like only like 10-90 users online everyday

Um ya thats why its been slow on here and harder to get to the site....But ya i just wish the problem would get fixed soon.Its getting annoying to see that it says the site doesnt exist or cant be found.

yeah, its a little bit annoying to try and load the site but to be greeted with some database error. and the site is kinda deserted every once in a while. =|

DDoS is Distributed Denial of Service attack. Basically large amounts of data are sent from many locations flooding the server in order to severely hinder access or crash the server. These attacks are more common on big name internet companies.

Ever since the website has been down and doing all that funky stuff, ToontownCentral has had less and less people every day.

Actually, I cut the Session Timer in half. That means that people who haven't clicked on anything in the last ten minutes don't show up on Who's Online.
Things did slow down since September 05, but I blame kids going back to school for that. -rcv- Kid Bugs |

I suspect that being in the top 1,000 sites on Big Boards may have something to do with it.
There are other things that happen that are a result of being on that list, like ad-spammers. Users normally don't see that stuff. Our sister-site, VMKf, will break into the top 1,000 on Big Boards soon. When that happens, we'll see if they start getting some of the same stuff happens. If it does, we may need to reconsider allowing Big Boards to list our sites. -rcv- Kid Bugs |
