Bad VP

I just went into a VP. First off, 2 Toons Alt+F4'd out. Then the other toon was a Cold Caller level 3. He was scared and didn't really know what to do. We made it through the cog round, each of us with about 50% of our laff gone. Then, I was pretty confident as we had 6 Toons left. 4 100+ laffers (Including me.) and the other 2 were about 50 laff. I decided to stay, and guess what. Take a brief moment to guess.

I get stuck with the 50 laffers. I mean, what are the chances. We defeat the first 4 cogs, as I use my Wedding cake. Then we get stck with 2 Level 12's and 2 Level 11's. I Lure, THEY SOUND. "_" OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We take 2 Paradigm Shifts and 2 Power Trips. Well, I did. The 50 laffers died at the second Paradigm Shift. I made past the 1st Power Trip and the Second one missed. I was all alone with 6 laff. I use Presentation on them. There was no way I would make it unless all those cogs missed each time. I had Organic Squirt. That couldn't help. I decided to let the time run out. The other side would help. I called my Doodle a few times too. After all 15 rounds finished, they still didn't come. I was like ????????? and then I realized something. The other 100+ laffers died. But how??? I will never know. The Mingler hit me with a Schmooze, I was sad. I wasted 2 Level 7's. Oh well. This was sort of a rant, but still. Later!

Sorry that happened to you!! The VP battle with randoms can be very tough, but I am sure your next try will be a successfull one!

I have done many, many VP battles where I was sided with 50 Laffers (or lower), where the lower Laffers didn´t have gag power even if put together to take out any of the high level cogs unless I joined them with my maxxed gags.
What I would do would be to lure first, and ask the others to pass. If lure hits, then we take out the cogs one by one, using the LLKR-strategy (Lure Left Kill Right) - lure all cogs - then take out the rightmost cog - then lure the cog that comes out to the left - kill the rightmost cog. And as I read you DID lure, but the others sounded away your lure - yes, very often sound is suggested by others not knowing the math to take out the high level cogs only by sounding (i.e a bunch of maxxed fogs), and not realizing that underkilling in sound probably will send at least some teammates straight back to playground at once. If I hear "Let´s use sound" or see a weak sound gag at this point I would try to advice against it at once "No" - "Don´t use sound on lured cogs" - "I think you should choose another gag", hopefully they will listen.

Sorry to hear you were all alone when using your Presentation! This has happened to me also a few times, that I was the very last one standing on both sides (but then I did know I was alone). The first time was a very long time ago and I used my brand new Presentation for the very first time - it missed and sent me back to PG pretty quickly. If your Presentation hit and you did have a bunch of SOS-card and maybe also a few gag-up unites/TU-units, I would say you would have a good chance of making it through the Skele Round, and maybe also have a try at soloing the VP!

I'm sorry you went sad, but when people leave best bet would be to leave so you dont go sad. Were you in Nutty River? I wouldn't trust the people there unless they were my frineds or fellow TTC members.

3 of them were my friends, but the other 4 were randoms. The 3 friends were the other 100+ laffers. Afterwards we just had a Doodle Party at my estate.

Awesome, well, I've lost several of times and just go and get my gags back and then it's like I never lost.

ok this stinks it happened to me too.. except differently...

here is my summary of my accident:
ok i just boarded the elevator with a level 13 HW. then the door closes and everyone, i mean EVERYONE alt f4's out. I'm stuck alone. so i alt f4 out too.. it really stunk.
