It seems when I am put with really low levels, and all the high levels go on the other team, the lower levels seem to finish faster than the higher.

No..i seem to have to disagree. I was with 3 other 50ish laffers, but the other side was all 100s, they had weak cogs (I was walking in battle) and we had a 4 12s. We all died.

The matter of what group finishes first is caused by many reasons:

-the level and strength of the gags of the toons in each group,
-the ability and level skill of the players in each group.
-teamwork

As a side note,
glitching in battle seems to confuse your fellow players.
Maybe as you said:...(I was walking in battle) and we had a 4 12s. We all died."
Maybe that was the reason you "all died".
Please stay focused, help your team, and maybe your group will finish faster.
Have a great day and keep on tooning.

The cogs arent split up by sides.... in all actuality, one side could get 4 cogs, and the other side could get 30. There is a set number of cogs total and whoever kills em faster gets more.

Another factor of cog levels is tasking. I found you'll see smaller cogs in the vp and cfo if someone on your side has something like yea many level 10+ or 11+ cogs in cashbot hq or anywhere etc etc

You can go a whole vp without seeing a single mingler too - always pick the holly for a task pursuit over the mingler.

Nope, even if i didn't, i would still have died and so would the others. That has no effect. If i was hindering them, it would. And i was not.

It was already mentioned, but each VP has a set number of cogs. The side that kills them off the fastest will get the majority. If a lone 12 came out at the beginning and he was never hit with an attack gag, but only lured, that that side would get only one cog and the other side 20+.

The other thing that you should know is that the cogs come out in a fixed order. In the first round as everyone knows there is always one level twelve on each side. The cogs always start small and get progressively bigger. Once it reaches the highest level, which is usually one or more 11 or 12, a second wave of cogs starts with small to large again. The last cog in the first round is always a single small cog which is usually a Lvl 1-3.

Groups of small toons who choose to sound will almost always go sad because of the progression. They run though the small cogs quickly and by the third round of using sound the cogs become far too big for their sound gags.
