Defeat a Cog Factory?

I have the toontask in DG to defeat a Cog Factory to carry 80 Jellybeans. Only problem is, I am not sure what the task means. Many of the tasks in DG has been to defeat sellbots in sellbot headquarters. All I did was enter sbhq and defeat the sellbots needed and left. I am pretty sure that doesnt count as defeating a cog factory.

I have since went in sbhq and looked around a bit and found an elevator to go in (which I think may be the place). But I didn't go in. Kinda scared of where the elevator will take me. I have 43lp and decent gags, but I know I will need help. Is there any guide that explains what I will see when I take the elevator ride? Is it kinda like a cog building with more cogs?

I can bring you through it like a breeze later tonight. I am a 111 laffer working in Sellbot HQ. I can totally help. The factory isn't too bad once you are use to it. I do about 3 everyday and boy, you will want to know it top and bottom once you are trying to max.

Go in with a group of toons and follow them. You shouldn't have too much trouble with four toons. You'll learn as you go through it a few times.

First of all, congratulations for reaching a milestone in
every toon's journey.

Once in the pit, go up on the right side,
Keep going straight, pass the tunnel.
Pass thru a small courtyard with cogs
Go thru another tunnel, turn right
and see first elevator to factory.

Also, I'm sure that here there is a forum/section tittle HQs
where you can find pretty useful information about the factory.
There are maps, where to find extra gags and jellybeans (if you ever need)
where the goons are located, type/lev of cogs, etc.
I suggest you read thru the information until you feel comfortable.

It is the best way to experience factory.

But if you want to do it again, just make sure
you say your task to the other toons before entering
because some toons need to do the long way to get more merits.
You just want to do the short runs, for now.

Your toon task means you need to defeat a Sellbot factory which is on the right gate after you enter the sell HQ.

Go through the gate on your right hand side and go though another tunnel and turn right, you'll see an elevator. You need to board hat elevator to get into the factory.

It's a wise decision not to goin alone at your laffs, better find other toons to go with.

If you will be on very late toight (like after midnight PST) I will definitely go with you, otherwise try to get in to a busy distrit and I bet there will be a lots of toon there.

It means you have to defeat the cogs in the control room. At the end of the dance, you'll be sent back to HQ proper and you'll earn credit for defeating the factory. Most lower level toons take the short route, which is six sets of cogs. Higher level toons take the long route, which is eleven sets of cogs. Either way, you should be fine.

My 45 laff toon, Daisy, had that same task and I finished it yesterday.
It's not that hard, just bring some of your friends or find a group to go with. Let them know that you need to complete a factory (through the SpeakChat), and I'm sure they would be willing to help you. I went with some higher laff toons yesterday, one of them a little above 60 laff and another around 100 laff. We successfully completed the factory, and I didn't even have to use all my gags.

Thanks for all of the replies. I was able to complete the factory. I went with 3 others that were very helpful. They waited for me when I didnt know which way to go. Worked out great because I was able to get a key from the mingler for my other toontask. Only thing is, it was not the correct key and I need to find another mingler. I have since done 3 more factories and have not been able to find a mingler. I did defeat a mingler in a 3 story sb cog building in DG but I did not receive the key. Will probably try a few more sb cog buildings to try and find a mingler.

I have noticed that every time I defeat a cog factory that I get a piece of my cog suit. Is that the only way to get a piece of cog suit? I guess I assumed I would just be able to do a toontask and get my cog suit.

I remember this task. I was like in the same position. Luckily I had an experienced friend who was at the same laff. She took her big toon with us. I remember being really scared/excited.
