SOS Toons Question

Hey everyone...

I searched for a thread for SOS toons but I didn't have any luck

I have a question - there are 8 slots on the SOS page in our book. After all 8 are filled, when you fight the V.P. and get more SOS toons, what will happen? Will they erase ones that are there? Or just not get added to the book if all 8 slots are full already?

I ask because I wasn't sure the other night before going after the V.P. so I used an SOS toon before hand to make sure I had a slot open.

If all your slots are full, you won't get the new card.

The only way to add to the SOS cards you have (if you are full) is if you get another SOS that is the same as one that you all ready have. Otherwise you are out of luck. IMO, the smart thing to do is to get rid of the smaller SOS cards (3 stars) and keep the good ones (4 stars and 5 stars) that way you have room if a good one comes up.

You can hold 100 of any one SOS card, for a total of800.

Once you have 8 slots filled, they will remain there until you use them up. The only way to get more than 8 SOS's is by having more of the same Toons Resuced, from the VP...

Basically if you have 8, a new card will just go away and you wont ever get it.

Your answer has been answered above, I will just add this extra info though.

Basically you need to use your cards more frequently (that's what they ther for ), if you get 8 different cards you are full unless you get repeats. Plus if you are working just on sell suits, you will get doubles of cards too, eventually you could have 3 or 4 of same card you may not use much to get rid of.

Check out this <Link to SOS Lists> to get an idea what SOS's you can collect and you'll have good idea what you want to collect.

For the rest you should free a slot by using one at end of one of the VP battles, but if like me you tend to forget such things, just use them up before entering.

If you are doing factories a lot, some of the SOS's can be used in there, the lowest Trap one (with lure) and lower Drop one are more useful on the lower cogs in there and save gags.

Just rememeber if you use a Restock that they will fill all extra gag space you have available and you will not be able to Restock with anymore (barrels in factory for instance) until you have made more space!!

Toons Hit and Cogs Miss have certain value:- Toons Hit can make sure Lure Hits if you have had a miss or two, or make sure Toonup gives as much as it can. Cogs Miss will allow one round of breathing space to try and secure cogs (luring) and Toonup if needed, but also can be used to Sound cogs but not defeat them, then after a round of missed cog attacks hopefuly another Sound volley with defeat them all (I have done this many times where I know I dont have enough Sound left to help defeat cogs in play, but know I have Cogs Miss, after using I join in another Sound volley and say goodbye to cogs without talking a hit)

Remember Toons Hit and Cogs Miss only last ONE ROUND.
