I'm sure people would try and shuffle you off of the elevator, because most people are babies like that, lol. I'd go with you if I ever saw you in the lobby though.
The easiest thing for a low laffer to do is go with the CCG. They're a group that's meant to help low laff and low level suits like yourself. I'll go find a link to their run times for you. EDIT: CCG : Run Times! Just scroll down to the day it is, and it will show the district and run times they have scheduled for that day. Don't forget to read the rules too. |

Yes go with CCG they will help you get your first VP experience and probably with sucessfull result, just read up about their protocol and rules before you go to their meets.
TBH especially with VP where you have chance to leave half way, too many higher toons are like babies like above poster said, I'm prepared to take anyone in VP who's willing to try their best, bring their strongest gags (not ones to exclusively train), and are willing to listen and learn from others. If things don't to well in first round of cogs then decision to leave can still be made , but even then if theres enough of what i see as good toons left to complete a skelly round I will continue, pie battle is not problem I'll do most myself if necessary and have done, while others are tooning each other ![]() 'Keep it Kool ' |

Go CCG for the best overall group experience. There are many high suits there to balance out the elevators. You may not win the first few times unless you've really read up on what the V.P. is like though. At 40ish LPs you can only fail to make a jump in the pie throwing round a few times before it's back to the playground. I'd suggest reading up on the V.P. fight first and yes, definately read and comply with the CCG rules before going with them. Good luck, it's a lot of fun!

Ditto to all of the above.
I am new to toontown as well, having started just over a month ago. Being a very timid cat and hating the unknown, I decided to build up my stamina and my gags first. I don’t like asking friends for help and like you I really want to pull my weight. So, I was a 65 laff with maxed throw, stormcloud, big magnet and pixie dust before attempting it for the first time. But then I spent a few days dealing with elevator shuffling and got discouraged… Seems like a CC1 wasn’t what the other toons wanted to deal with. Thankfully I found and joined the CCG. This is by far the funniest and most lively group of toons… and they do take care of you to the best of their ability. Best thing I can say is listen to their advice, since they are there to help you make it to the final dance. That being said 4 successful VPs with the CCG in 2 days and I am now a very happy-go-lucky cat ![]() |
