I don't mind running with little toons. If they are contributing or being part of a team, that's great. If they follow us around and don't contribute, I try to remind myself that kids do play this game and it could be a youngster. Either way I really don't mind. I do really dislike when you go into the factory or a building and a toon calls their doodle every single time. That drives me crazy!!!

Little toons feeding off bigger ones don't bug me nearly as much as middle toons who plug up NR while chasing bux/merits ... I'm talking about the ones who have a lawbot suit but have absolutely no intention of working CJ to earn any invasion summons. If you ask me they have taken the little toon's parasitic ways and multiplied them by several orders of magnitude.

My Mood:
I started playing 3 weeks ago - Like all new toons, I trudged my way through the first week learning the tricks of the trade - pretty much by trial and error.
At some point, when I was a lower 40 laff, one of my tasks was to defeat a factory foreman. And like most other first timers, I had no idea what to expect. I felt like it took me 6 runs before I even began to get a sense of direction. The place still confuses me….
But I was (and still am) extremely thankful when someone is patient enough to show me the way or to lend me a hand. It doesn’t take more than a few seconds or one kind word to give someone the confidence to join in. I find it intimidating and I’m not a kid… so imagine what they feel like.
I really don’t believe all lower laughers are riding the coat tails of high laugh toons. And i guess the few that do will not advance in the game.

Today however 3 (100+) toons hopped off the elevator at the last second leaving me alone… very annoying because at 60 laff - I can carry my weight, but I just can’t make it on my own...

What the bigger toons are looking for is elephant sound or better.

Sound is without a doubt the best, the most efficient, and the most desired gag of choice in factories and mints. The reason is time. To max out a suit requires about 125 factory runs. The big toons are interested in doing them quickly and getting them over with. Each factory holds 11 sets of cogs (35 total). If you defeat them with sound then they all spin around and blow up as a group. If you use something else then you have to watch each individual cog take a shot and/or blow up. The time savings between a sound run and a soundless run is about 15-20 minutes.

So, what does this mean to smaller toons? There are 11 sets of cogs so you should have 11 sound gags in your pouch. It means that while you are standing around outside the elevator the bigger toons are clicking on you and looking at your gags. They want to see elephant or better because 3ele + 7aoogah + 1trumpet = a full run. They would also like to see a good balance between laff points and gags. But generally speaking the deal breaker is elephant.

"let's use sound" ... "yes"
"hurry" .... "yes"

Now ... about that fast thing. Once you are in a factory you can teleport out. Download the map from here and have it handy. Go into a factory with an SF or solo. There is no time limit so take your time. You goal is not to reach the end. Your goal is to learn the factory well enough that you can run and keep up. If you ever become uncomfortable with you laff level then teleport out and start over after recharging.

It really isnt fair for the stronger toons. I was in a bossbot golf course (not really sellbot HQ, i know) but i had a 17 hp toon that wouldnt joined the fights, and ticked me off even more because he would sit on the sidelines and tell us what to do >
