The factory issues would have been prevented very easily.
If you have bad luck with low laffers, then DON'T GO IN WITH THEM. It's logical, aint it? Ask a friend or wait for atleast one other high laff toon like you. You didn't have to go in with the low laffers. As for the other things, sorry as well for that!! I died twice yesterday trying to solo 5 story bldgs in the Brrghh...everything kept missing . I hope the next few days will be good for you! |

im totally with you on the noob problem, but my problem is with the V.P.
I cant stand all the CC lvl1s that are 45's, i mean people u hav toontasks go do them and get out of here. if u need someone for a fac run or someone to come with on VP runs, jus send me a code. Ill be more than happy since i need SBHQ as well. Im a 107 so i got some strategy lol. Or wut u can do at ur laff point level is solo facs :/ just a suggestion |

Cmon, Im 46 laff and am Telemarketer Lv2.
I do my part in the cog fighting round and excel at stunning the VP. Don't pin it on all of us low laffers. I got greifed by a high laffer once, That must mean they all are like that! No, it doesn't. Vice Versa Playing with fonts! Er...um...Yeah. |

I play both lower and higher laff toons, and it's all about the person behind the toon.
Reading this, I can envision being on one of my little toons and being shuffled off elevators and "higher laff" toons refusing to go in factories with me just because I'm playing a 'smaller' toon. I'm sorry that happened about the invasions - it's happened to me more times that I can count with both lower or newer toons as well as higher experienced toons who didn't need the invasion credit. After being asked or told "Let's catch the next one" simply said "No" followed by "I don't care". I still take my chances with lower laff toons, especially when I see they're being shuffled off elevators in Boss fights or in headquarters. Often it is an experienced player playing a smaller toon. You can almost immediately tell by their method of play whether or not it's an experienced player or truly one new to the game. Quite frequently, new toons are just happy and appreciative that someone will run with them and when asked to "Wait a minute" for the next invasion, whether they understand what they're waiting for or not, they'll follow my lead. One of the most memorable and fun VP's I did some time ago was with a group of lower laff toons who'd been getting shuffled off the elevator. All or most of the "larger" toons jumped off the elevator whenever the smaller toons boarded, but we all went anyway. I think I was the only one with lure on my side, and when it missed one hit wiped out two toons on our side leaving me and another who had laff in low 50's. It was apparent that he was newer to the game, but when I said things like "you should pass" or "follow me" he did. I never try to direct anyone in a game - I don't like when other players do it either. But in this case as is often in that type of a situation I was trying to get him to not throw a gag without my gag to help, because his alone weren't powerful enough to destroy any of the cogs. We ended up finishing on our side - both with full laff - without needing help from the toons on the other side, and we all danced at the end. Regardless of how many invasions I've missed or how many times I've been ditched or whatever may have happened, I still always give the benefit of the doubt unless it's a toon I know and choose not to run with for whatever reason. It really depends on who's behind that toon.

I know.. it stinks when people are inconsiderate like that. Especially when you're in river and there are invasions all the time. I wouldn't hurt anyone to wait for a few minutes. And it's one thing if they are new and they don't really understand why they need to wait but then there are those people who go in and defeat all the cogs before an invasion just b/c.. That almost happened to me today in bbhq.. but an invasion started right before this person was about to do in all the cogs for good thank goodness.
So I feel your pain! Just gotta try again. |

that's why i solo factories. just make sure you have great lures with you.
or sometimes i'll ask an sf if they need to work their gags. it's much better though. except when there's a toon standing by the elevator who WON'T leave you alone even if you go to the side. x.x it was like a 34 laffer filled with cupcakes and squirting flowers... o.o |

laff is not always the deciding factor. some people catch on real quick or have other toons.
not everyone is aware of what invasions are and how they help. unless you need 1000000 merits/bux/jn/so, you dont even care. I remember thinking that too. why are we waiting? just remember you can always solo a full or partial if there arent any toons you want to go in with. usually higher laff toons are more likely to wait for invasions, but not always. if you must go in with toons you are unsure will wait for invasion --- one way you can get around this is by pacing yourself before the end. we all know invasions last 8-10 minutes, so if an invasion starts, think to yourself if you can finish in 10 minutes. if you can - try to slow them down and offer to push the switch and stall as long as you can. -- also - most likely they wont start a battle without you unless it is the very end, so slack off a little on those sets before the end. call your doodle or whatever. best of luck. |
