Very nice guide.
I hope you don't mind me adding a little extra. The angle you want is approximately 45 degrees. To get the pie throwing accuracy, try counting to two and letting go, more often than not your shot will be accurate. Once you have the technique perfected you no longer need to look at the blue bar and can concentrate on the VP himself.
