its impossible for me to solo a vp. im not sayin it is for anybody else, but for me it is. i cant even finish it with one other toon. i had to relogin on my last vp bc we couldnt keep him stunned long enough to get a pie at him. and wen we did he would just start comin back. i could get past the cog battles easily, its the pie throwing i have trouble with. i have to get so far back to get a pie in to stun him, and by the time i get to the front, he gets unstunned. plus my right ctrl key sticks so i cnt jump wen he uses his jump.

I think it's safe to say that most people have been having lag/problems with SBHQ lately. I've been having terrible lag during the pie round. Hopefully these bugs should be fixed in time.

I suggest you try close stunning. An up-side to lag is that you can throw the pie straight easier.

Yes close stunning is the key, the VP will try less to run up ramps is you stay closer, plus running into to him (avoid the swipe) can slow him down especially if hes constantly jumping aswell.

The CCG hold scheduled runs for Stun/Crane Pratice, not sure how it all works, probs need to go to their forum section and look around/discuss. I would think you be expected to know and have tried the basics first though.
So go to Sell Hq section and Try the Guides.

Try The Dogfathers Guide to VP it cover all the basics, but there are some sections on stunning and close stunning with some helpfull pic of postioning etc.

In river yes. Everyone gets it, it's not just in SBHQ. Which is why I avoid River runs until very, very late. I usually won't do a River VP/other boss until 2-4AM Eastern. Even then it'll lag. No where near as bad as in the middle of the day & night, but it's much better.

I've done the VP on different computers, some good some bad, and the way I do the pie fight doesn't change at all. I have no hinderence in the pie fight. I may lag a bit more on the worst of the computers, but I really have no trouble actually in a pie fight.

Honestly there isn't much to close stunning in the first place. Stand behind (or in front) of his treads, face the hatch at an angle and toss the pie up in there.
