I think what she is implying is that the dog snuck in and finished off the supervisor before everyone else could join. If someone does that you do not get any points and are transported back to the Selbot HQ playground. I have seen this done before and it is surely a mean thing to do. It could be they did not understand that, but, by 120 laff points you should have been through the factory enough to make you sick of ever seeing it again. I am only at 114 and HW33 and I am surely sick of it...
![]() Sorry that happened but luckly that type of behaviour, if intentional, is the expception, not the rule. Better luck next time. |

they turned back with us after the first skeles, and killed the cogs in the Boiler Room - this indicates that they are in it for the long run right?
Through the West Catwalk and into the Pipe Room, we get into battle, and the dog is stood back somewhere. What I thought at this stage is that they were stuck, or bored - who knows, we lure the cogs, wait, then kill. Next thing any of us know is that this loopy is fighting the foreman - yeah well done us for thinking this toon wants to do the long run I whisper "wait" etc, but of course they arent going to. I then stunk the dog - which is the most pointless phrase ever - but what else can i do at that stage? We all go back to the playground. Thats cut and dried factory theft in my opinion. The joke is, I ran in the lift first, and was happy to do the factory alone - no one asked this dog to help. If you only need a few merits, then go yourself i reckon, dont assume that smaller toons dont need more, im 108 laff but mh41 and there was a cat who was there also, who was an uber - so who knows what they needed. |

Based on my experience, i think i know why high laff don't accept low laffs in factory. One time (because i'm a CCG member,) I had 2 low laffs with me and both of us High laff needed a lot of merits (with invasion= 776, for a blue bear, needed 860 merits, and I NEEDED 5500 MERITS!! Those 2 low laffs will not allow us to wait for an invasion, NOT allow us to fight additional cogs (like that path no one has to go in.) They don't wait!! AND they DON'T EVEN let us go to the paint mixer (I needed enough for my coming 10000 bean bank.) Some of these low laff has issues too.
High laff responsibility, Let low laffs in, let them live, and let them fight last round, and if nessesary, allow them to fight all (plus invasion) Low laff responsibility, Let high laffs in, wait for them to fight, Allow to fight last round, AND WAI FOR AN INVASION (if possible and if toon(s) want to wait.) I'm only 110, Mr. Hollywood level 19, And I'm not just tired of it, I HATE the factory!! So tired, i would RATHER have another 6 months in FREE account. (And yes, I know how it feels like, a 7 months in free account , but that's how much i hate the factory. People who don't accept low laff (or vice versa) is going to die fast, let others go sad, then barely any help left. (unless you can solo a VP) Last edited by Dizzy; 05-01-2008 at 12:23 PM. In my opinion, if you made it perfectly clear, well in advance, that they were supposed to wait for an invasion, and they go into the Control Room anyway, then there's nothing wrong with letting them fight the Foreman and other three cogs themselves. They didn't respect your request, and you're under no obligation to help them. Others here may have different views. |

I see where Twin is coming from for sure, but my point is, that this toon knew we were running the long factory, came with us, and then disappeared. They gave the impression they were doing the long run, and certainly knew when they were fighing on the towers that we werent there.
This was a blatant theft of a factory, I was happy to do the factory alone, this toon jumped in at the last moment, and only needed a few, so ditched us - no indication, no speedchat, nothing. I would have thought this toon could have done whatever merits it needed alone. With regards to waiting for invasions, theres always going to be toons that dont understand what this means, until they have been playing the game for a while. My monkey is 108 and I was with some uber toon, so chances are, the 120 laff toon could have worked out that we need more merits. As it turned out - it wasnt prepared to let us have any right? On a separate note to Gabbana, what i wrote is my opinion, and an angry one at the time too! If you dont like my opinion, im happy for anyone to respond, and give me thier's - its a free site right? What I have noticed on ttc lately though (i read a lot of threads, but dont tend to say much, although tempted at times), is that the threads take a turn for the worse on a regular basis, and they turn into "who can say the smartest thing" contests. You only need to look at some of the Boss threads to know this is true, I read a thread on there yesterday which quite literally made me cringe, it was so nasty, about how one toon thought another toon whined and had threads that were too long etc. So, with that in mind Gabbana, yay, you rock - peace. |

She clearly stated that it was her opinion and she is entitled to state it as you were entitled to post yours. Lets not be as other threads because someone wanted to vent. Its not like the winded thread in the Boss section on how others should play to the OP's liking. Even some of those really get off base because the responders were bored and read the first couple of lines and thought too long cant wait to just respond to what I just read and did or didn't like what I just read. But hey they are entitled to say what they feel compelled to as well. To Sally Sparkle Bunny, Sorry it happened to you. But believe it or not it still happens. It will continue to be a vicious cycle because the innocent will continue to pay for what happened to the person in question in it's past and now everyone will pay for the high laffers being mean to it when it was a low laffer and now that it is a high laffer it will pass it on to the next generation of toons and so on and so forth.

I had some bad expiriences with factories, but I didn't really care.
So me and my cousin were getting sellbot pieces for him. When we got to the foreman, we killed all the cogs but there was still an invisible one. We tried to attack but it just kept going back to our gag screen so we had to log out. THEN we made it again to the foreman and my cousin said on the phone "Use toon up." But I said "We can make this." so yeah, I used sound, all except the skelecog died, and he used a 20 laff move. 10 seconds later I win. Not much like yours but there were some times earlier when that happened to me.

High laffers are known to steal factorys because sometimes newbs dont understand that thay need merits. so the newb will run into the foreman without an invasion. so the high laffs get mad and steal/stink/dont tu. I never remember the factory being like this but newbs tend to be avoided by higher laffers
