Arrow Most Efficient ways to get Merits Using the Factory's

This guide shows you how many factories you'll need with or without an invasion to do to complete a level when your working on your sell suit. There are tons of combinations to do factories but to make this thread easier to understand I have not put in every single thing that you will need to know. Ex: Doing a silo and pipe room, etc...
Using this guide should help you understand how many factories are needed for one level. Don't forget earlier levels you might want to do buildings instead! Good luck getting thoughs merits!

I used the Merits of invasions and without invasions of a factory and then used the suit merits. I have just finished my lawbot hq one. I am now doing the Cashbot one. There are many people who have done a factory needing an invasion without and think aw I need to waste more time so i've made these threads hopping they become sticky's to help people. But it would be better to move them to the merits thread.

Because that would leave you 68 short of the total needed, you could of course do a 4 level build and this MAY get you those 68 instead of a factory.

Of course the extra factory in a lot cases doesnt need to be full one, you would only need silos to that 68 which used to be possible from side, but now its very difficult to pass pipe room with new sensitive cogs.

Thank you for pointing that out. As said for earlier levels do buildings and if you are left with 68 go ahead and do a building but this only shows efficent ways only with factories.

Level 21,31,41: 1 Factories with an invasion, one short factory 890 merits
Level 22,32,42: 1 Factories with an invasion, one short factory 1,100 merits
Level 23,33,43: 2 Factories both with invasions 1,310 merits-OK
Level 24,34,44: 2 Factories both with invasions 1,520 merits-OK
Level 25,35,45: 2 Factories 2 with invasions, one short factory 1,730 merits
Level 26,36,46: 2 Factories all with invasions, one short factory 1,940 merits
Level 27,37,47: 3 Factories all with invasions 2,150 merits-OK
Level 28,38,48: 3 Factories with invasions, one short factory 2,360 meritsI think those ways are much more efficent.
Definition of short factory: enter the side entrance and kill the first set of cogs, continue forward and defeat those 2 sets of cogs, after that go to the warehouse kill those cogs, and finally defeat all 3 of the silos.-500-600 merits.
This saves a lot of time, and why do a whole factory-776 merits, if you only need 300-400-500.
I also found short factories really easy to solo.
Also if you only need like 300 merits, feel free to skip the warehouse, for those who didn't know, when you first enter into the warehouse from the west-cat-walk, you will notice a wall directly to your left, click on your friends panel, and select a toon's name, now click "toon details" while pressing the up button, running toward to wall, you will be booted up, without having to fight the cogs, this also works while you're on the elevator thing going to the silos.

Sorry but this only states doing all of the factory but obviously it's common since to skip things but most of the time someone needs the whole factory so it's nice to do it even if you don't need it.

This shows buildings that may be needed for lower levels and higher ones. That helps you not waste time doing a whole nother factory.
Sorry, I just thought that it would be faster =/.

I agree that this is a good guide, but I also agree with Sketch Maker that you should specify whether you mean a short or a long factory. You don't need 1 long factory until Mover & Shaker 9. Then after that you don't need a long until Two Face 10 then The Mingler 9+. A long gets you 776 with an invasion, and shorts get you anywhere from 300 to 500 in merits. You could even go more in depth as to what routes to take for each level of suit. There are tons and tons of different ways to do a factory, so saying X number of factories isn't exactly too specific.

dont forget, you can always do a partial factory for those extra merits.

entering from side doing oil, warehouse (or f9'n past) plus silos should get you 200-400 and is much quicker than tracking down a building and finding people to go with. if your gags are level 6 or higher, you can solo no problem esspecialy partial.

PS. TT please come back. i hate maintenance.

I haven't seen this thread in a while but I have also put short factories in and within minutes will add in some information to tell you that a short factory is can be a partail factory. Also new information will include saying that if it doesn't say short factory then you will either need a full factory or full factory with invasion. Yes factories have tons of different combinations but this will make it more convinent to do what is said. After adding this information I hope it will make it easier to understand.

well, i actually timed it.

The most efficient method of all is to have three (or more) toons with full fog doing full runs. On each run one toon saves two or more fogs. After completion that toon runs back to entrance while the others gag-up and then teleport back. In this fashion you can earn about 75-80 MPM (Merits Per Minute).

The most efficient solo method is to avoid excessive lures. Go into side entrance with fog. Run directly to oil room & fog. Go to whse platform, use lure, take out Level6, then fog. On silos try to touch a level 6 cog first so that you will get lure bonus on a 6. Then you can use big magnet and pie-storm-pie each of the two side silos. This leaves you with backup goggles, 3 bday, and 1 storm to use on center silo. It is faster to do this and run back from daisy than to drag the factory out with excessive luring. In this fashion you can earn about 35 MPM.

You are correct sir; however, if you want to avoid another excessive lure, don't lure in whse - just fog then take out the 6 after you loose a little laff.

This run is 472 merits w/ invasion. Works well solo and with a buddy to avoid having to run back to the playground.

Uh this has nothing to do with this thread as far as solos and battles I guess you didn't read it but that's ok.
