Wow you guys are driving me crazy I have 102 points and I have lost 5 times of course I have no sf's so I don't know who I am fighting with last time I ended up by myself fighting the seletons ! and almost everyone who we went in with had 90+ points! the time before that we got him all the way to the pad I got sad mostly from the 3 point gears

I'm not bragging at all, I'm just excited....

I just went into my first VP battle. It was a great bunch of toons whom I don't know although one name was familiar. And we won! My first! It was fabulous! :-D

What the heck is the prize for being a Hollywood first?? You get to post a picture of it first to declare you have no life outside of Toontown?? Well wooopie doooo for you......

I would've been, I could've been????? so what? All it means is you have tons of "FREE" time to spend in this game.

And if your taking hits from the 3 pt cog gears... your TOO CLOSE!!!! How many ******** threads on this are there? People go read a HOW TO BEAT THE VP thread. You can win with only 4 toons, 6 toons, it can be done. Just don't get in hurry! Speed is not what is important on the VP! Timing, Aim, and your ablility to JUMP! ah what the....why bother!!!

I'll tell you something? Ok, go right in front of the box under the VP (just you if you get there first ) & stay on one side. The VP only shoot those gear stuff in one direction throughtout most of the battle.

keep throwing pies if you want, but you should really wait for the box to open....actually if you're not sure you're on the right side keep throwing

1) take a deep breath
2)calm down
3)take a chill pill

i mean, for many people, its exciting. what is the point of cog hq if ya cant have fun. i mean, thats what they are doing aint it??
the race to the hollywood first is more of a bragging right.. like being the first to 105 on open, and not being a dev. its just an accomplishment to brag to people about

and, there will be something past the hollywood too. since there is 60 promotions

Does someone have this bookmarked? Can it be stickied? I can't seem to find it. Can't search on "how to beat the vp" because the site won't allow a search on words 3 characters or less.

I didn't succeed in beating the VP until my 6th try (2 crashes, 3 deaths were my previous efforts). And I have died once since, the last toon standing (should I feel good about that???). I stand off to the side, but still get hit by the gears. If I go too far away, the pies don't hit. I'm so PO'd at the whole thing that I'll come straight out and ask, making myself sound stupid for not knowing. So, someone tell me where I'm supposed to stand. Thought I had it all figured out after the 1st win, but apparently not.

At this point, I feel that my 101 laff toon is useless. It's way too hard to beat the VP. The stupid VP losses drive me to fish. Then I get so PO'd at fishing because I still only have a ******* bamboo rod and can't find some of the fish that we were supposedly supposed to be able to get with the twig. So much for having an "old" toon.

It's not a race. It's called sharing the joy and excitement of victory.

Sometimes getting sprayed with -3's is a necessary evil in certain
situations where the VP's on a bad angle.

I've beat the VP twice now with only 3 toons.

How are you doing? Are you peeved because all the discos you
had, getting you off to a slow start? Share the love, man
