Grand Touring bugged for 119s

ok folks heres the deal, i raced this morning with a very nice toon, and after failing on my quest i left to report my findings here. A little later i got a pm from this toon saying that after i left she did one more race and won the trophy. I have been back and i have raced exactly the same circuits as her and still no joy. It seems apparent it is getting awarded but not as it should and definatly not to any 119s.

I would have to agree with you. After racing all 12 tracks and not receiving the Grand Touring trophy, I rebooted and tried the 12 again....still nothing. While both of my husband's toons(16lp, 118lp) received theirs in the first race, I'm left to wonder if maybe just the 119s are being excluded from this trophy. Hmmmmm.....

There may be more to it than that....

Our 108 laffer Fluffy Mizzenmouth earned his Grand Touring trophy this morning, after racing one reverse Airborne Acres race. This earned him 20 trophies and SHOULD have given him a laff boost.

But he didn't get a laff boost.

I've screenshot the shticker book page with the 20 trophies and reported to Disney. Sounds like there is still a problem with the Grand Touring trophy somehow, somewhere.

I won the GT trophy after winning one Blizzard Blvd. Reverse race. Unfortunately, the trophy only put me at 19. I might race tonight to see if I can win #20 and see if i got the laff boost.

i raced all 12 tracks this morning (knowing there was a possible glitch) and of course, didn't get the grand touring trophy. i am going to race again with my daughter and see if she gets it.

i raced one race today and recieved the GT trophey...i can't think of any reason why just 119's arn't getting it and why a laff isn't being given afterwards...this is weird

My 118 did not get it either.

One possible problem may be that practice races do count for qualifications. My friend (not at 119 lp) had qualification times on all the tracks and did not get the Grand Touring trophy after one race. I asked her which track she dislikes the most and then we raced on it. Sure enough, she got the trophy right after! She most likely got the qualification time on a practice track and those do not count for the Grand Touring.

Unfortunately, this does not explain why 119 toons who purposely race on all 12 tracks do not earn it.

I'm 118, and tried them, can't get it. My hubby who's lost race after race after race so that somebody in the family could win..won it on the first race he did this am...and lost of course. Apparently winning isn't required. He's a smaller toon and I'm thinking that's why he got the trophy.

I'm really getting tired of redoing these races over and over and over...when they should be awarding us for the work that we did to meet the criteria that they set. It's just dishonest. Does anybody else get bothered by cheaters...even if they are on the Disney payroll? It's a great deal of bait and switch and should make us pretty reluctant to believe their adds.

I agree, it's rediculas. I would think that since they have a Test, they would actually test their product, but I'm wrong. I have also re-raced the same tracks over and over again for this trophy, as well as for the qualifies before they fixed it. They just need to hand this trophy out. I expect, tho doubt it will happen, a fix for this tonight.

I do not know what is going on with the Grand Touring Trophy, but it looks like if you win it at the same time you earn a laff point you will not get it, but if you win it without getting a laff point you will get it. This is just what I think is going on. so please let us know if anyone earned a laff point at the same time as the Grand Touring Trophy, maybe that way we can help Disney find the problem so they can fix it.

I had raced all of the races tons and tons of times, but just today I got the trophy for it. In the same race, all of my friends I was racing with got it too...

This is pathetic. Disney closes tt for 3 hours last night just to fix the trophy and still doesnt get it right! Owooo! I feel so bad for you 119's, all this time waiting and lovely Disney keeps dragging it out for you. You guys have worked so hard for this one measly trophy and its still bugged. I'd be really upset if I were you lol Hopefully Disney will get it right one of these days so you can get your 120 Finally! I got the grand touring trophy on my black cat by doing one race, but it wasnt for a lp, maybe zowie was onto somthing with that? Cuz some ppl are getting it just not the 119's.. hmm... this is really weird.

Way to go Disney! You messed up again! Lol.

I've done around 700 to 800 races now, it should be over.
