How are tie's decided

Just did my first gran prix thing

in the end there was a 3 way tie

1st = 24
2ed = 20
3rd = 20
4th = 20

there's a BIG difference in the winnings, and I was just wondering how it's decided, because I was placed in 4th

I'm sure its fair, but I really dont want to find out that its random

I don't know. I think it has to be random unless tt keeps track of nano seconds.

If the points are even... (like you all had 20...) then they use the total times of all 3 races to decide the places.

I think it was who had the fastest time that goes in front. That has happened to me 2. and they placed the person with the fastest time infront....

I've also wondered this once, and with some testing with some Secret Friend's, I think it goes like this...

Spot 1 > [] [] < Spot 2
Spot 3 > [] [] < Spot 4

If their's ever a tie, The highest spot number will be first. (Ex. Spot 1 & 3 tie - Spot one goes in front of Spot 3's car)

But, im not completley sure though...yet it does sound logical, wouldn't you think?

Oh, i re-read the post. EDIT: 1st place got 24th? And it was a tie? Are you sure that he/she didn't make it a step ahead?

Cool How do they gage ties.

HA HA HA. TT has no idea. I have inquired several times. All i Have gotten is that the person who has the fastest time on the last race AND only the last race will get the higher ticket amount on a race in the Grand Prix.
