how do u get a trophie???
i won 1 race on all new tracks!! what else do i have to do.

As I first suspected, after racing a few hours yesterday and nothing...
Similar to Bingo Wednesdays, Grand Prix comes at certain times of the day. At 5:00 Sharp yesterday appeared a pink whisper bubble... There is a special Grand Prix Event going on now, Go over to GSW and Check it out...I will try to get a screenie up here. Then I won and swept 2 Grand Prix's. Sweep means that you won all 3 consecutive races in the same Grand Prix Run. Hope this helps.

actually the last part of the bubble said go over to gsw for a sneak peek of the Grand prix event.

Each of the new tracks corresponds to the original track at the same location, therefore racing on either City Circuit or Blizzard Boulevard counts as an Urban race.
That said; there also was a fix on Test today which corrected a bug which did not issue qualifications or wins from racing on the new tracks toward your personal totals. I'm sure that fix will be sent to Open soon, but for now those races only count for ticket earnings and Best Time Records, not qualification/win trophies in our books.

Grand Prix events mean you enter a race normally ... but when you finish that race, you go straight to another track instead of back to GSW playground. When you finish the second race, you enter a third race. It is only when you finish the third race you are told about how many tickets you have won.
I went to GSW and had a go at the Grand Prix races but was also surprised not to get a trophy when I thought I should have done. But as Army Man said in his message above, yesterday's event was a "sneek preview" so I suspect nobody would have got any trophies. Is that right? I think we are going to have to wait for every Monday for the chance to get any trophies from the new tracks. |
