BUG? Coming in first...but last?

Okay, so several times in the last few days since I started playing on the speedway, I have come in, say, first or second, but when the stats come up, it shows me coming in a lower place. Why would that be? In one case, it was a complete neck-and-neck race, and at the last moment, I had saved an anvil, and dropped it on the first place guy before we hit the last stretch. I sped past him and over the finish line, and I was so excited! And then when the stats came up, I was in LAST PLACE OF FOUR?!

What is happening here? I have searched the threads as much as I could looking for a similar issue and haven't found it yet...

O_O Weird.... I've had things similar to that happen to me too!

I know! GSW has a lot of problems! I used an anvil before and it never hit anyone (I was in SS so I could see an anvil if it hit someone).

I go on a power booster sometiems, and it doesn't boost me up.

And lot's of times it shows me with a lower time than everyone else but I'm still in last.

Disney's probably going to be working on this.

Basically, I think it's due to lag. To you, it looks like you won, but to the other guy(s) it looks like they won. Because of lag, your computer is displaying an approximation of what's really happening on the server. Once you're done the race, it has a chance to catch up and you see where you really were.

This is only a theory.

Good point. That made me come up with this theory:
Both you, and your oponent see the same thing, BUT, when two racers are crossing the finish line at about the same time, they use "photo finish" to decipher the winner. I think that the problem might have to do with Disney, not you, but that's just a theory.

I know! For instance, today - I was racing and it clearly said "1st" on the bottom left. It wasn't "twitching" or "switching." It was just, 1st. So, I would think I came in first. But, when the stats came up, I came in 3/3 and ended up getting 7 tickets instead of the 50 I should have gotten.

At first, I thought it was just a little error kind of thing. Their computers were faster and I couldn't keep up with them...

I know my friend should have gotten 1st and me 2nd instead we got 3rd and 4th so there is defiantly a bug.

that happened to me...i finished and watched the ppl come and finish the race after me!!!!!!!!!!!!arrrrgh i came in fourth!

I hate it when people play toontown on dial-up, it really slows the rest down.
