Progress Report for Trophy Page in Shticker Book

(If this has been discussed elsewhere, my apologies.)

In every other part of Toontown, you can check on your progress towards finishing your tasks or achieving your goals.

If you have a toontask to defeat 100 cogs, your Shticker Book tells you how many cogs you have defeated towards that goal. (e.g. 77 cogs out of 100)

If you are earning merits or bucks towards the HQs, your Shticker Book tells you how many merits/bucks you have earned. (e.g. 1353 out of 8900)

Fish.....Jellybeans.....Tasks.....Merits....Bucks. ....Cog suits.....The Cog Gallery......Whatever the goal, you have a way of tracking your progress.

So, WHY CAN'T WE TRACK OUR PROGESS TOWARDS EARNING OUR TROPHIES ON GOOFY'S SPEEDWAY???????

The current system makes it very difficult to keep track of our trophy progress. Our big toon Fluffy Mizzenmouth has 13 trophies, and is well on his way to earning 3 more in the near future. But your guess is as good as mine as to how close he really is to achieving his goals of qualifying or winning 100 times on a particular track. Why keep this a secret?

The current system also makes it difficult for players to understand how the trophies work. I know what the first 20 trophies are because I read the TTC boards and have been on Test. But my SFs who aren't on Test or on these boards are very bewildered by the whole thing. Most of them didn't even know that trophies could give you a laff boost until I told them. And none of them knew what trophies to work towards. Many of them have already given up on racing as a result of the confusion.

Now, I understand that Disney wants certain trophies to remain a secret until "revealed", and I can understand that. They've done the same thing with the species of fish and the "species" of Cogs in the Cog Gallery--you don't see them in your book until you've actually "seen" them in Toontown.

But Disney could at least unlock a few trophies at a time, so players could track their progress towards a few goals. For instance, once you qualified on Rustic Raceway, you not only would earn a trophy for "One Rural Race Qualified" but also would be able to see how many more races you needed to complete "Ten Rural Races Qualified" and "100 Rural Races Qualified". Once you won a race, you would be able to see how many more races you needed to win to earn 10 and 100 win trophies, and so forth.

What do you guys think??????

I agree with your entire post. I have 11 trophies, I have no clue where I stand in regard to when I should receive my next one. I have emailed Disney asking about some way to track my progress, but they remain silent.

Thumbs up

I am in total agreement. Even if they would expand on the section of the Players Guide about GSW, as they did with the Sellbot & Cashbot HQ's.

I also have been frustrated by this. It would be nice to know just how many races I have qualified for. It can be done with totals to date without actually revealing the next trophies if they need to keep it secret.

oh I absolutely agree.

I have 19 trophies, and it's killing me to not know how many more I need to win. The other 2 100-win trophies seemed to take hours longer than I thought they should, so it is quite frustrating to be working toward 100 wins on city circuit and have no clue if I need 10 more or 40 more... with each 5 minute race I think, ok, this has GOT to be it!!

Yes, we definitely need some positive encouragement with these trophies.

It absolutely stinks! I had a little piece of paper by my computer that I was keeping little "tally" marks on ( I know, it's a sickness)...I kept it right next to my "fish caught" chart . Anyway, my 4 year old took it and drew like a million more lines on the paper. UUUGH! I can't tell what the exact number is anymore but I at least have an "estimate". I have no clue on my test toon.
I'm hoping the schticker book will update when the last row is revealed.

I Agree with you all the way. I was thinking that also the last few days. I dont like the fact that you dont know how many races are you til you next trophy. I hoep they fix it though. Disney has fix some other things on GSW in the last few days so maybe more is to come who knows

I agree!

It's frustrating of not knowing how many races you qualified and how many more before getting another trophy. I just kept on racing and racing and racing and I was like, "dude, didn't I race like 100 times on this track already?" but in reality, it's not even close to it!

I hope Disney will really look into it and do everyone a favor by tracking down our progress. It will be so much better for all of us.

I agree as well. In fact, there are a lot of things about GSW that make it unappealing for me. After the first few days I've largely ignored it, preferring to work up my Sellbot and Cashbot suits.
