Turbo Tires

From the test server front page...

Toontown Game Server News: If you currently own the "Turbo" wheel please delete it before visiting the Kart Shop Clerks to purchase accessories. It is not necessary to own this wheel as it is the default wheel on all karts. Thanks!
So, just curious how many people bought these tires, what did they cost and did they do anything for you?

Thanks, Batleth. I see they come with the car now but I was curious what they used to cost and how many tickets people were out now that they are "standard". I never had enough tickets to buy anything but paint so I'm not out anything. You can go ahead and close or delete this thread now if you would. I see there are others regarding the information .

Yeah, all two, but I think the Roadster has different tires.

They are the default tires for all Karts. If you see on Goofy Speedway Guide (Fully Illustrated) you'll see them on all karts. This also displays the old pricing for them of 500 tickets. Since they were the default tires, I doubt they did anything special for your kart. Though I doubt any of the accessories actually do much for your kart. Even the karts aren't displaying much differences between them.

Sorry, I was a bit rushed earlier. Is this what you were looking for?

I can't help but wonder if anyone who had purchased them received a refund of the 500 tickets upon deletion. Probably not.

Yes, exactly. Thanks so much.

That was the other thing I was curious about. I doubt seriously they would give back the tickets but I know I struggled through lag and getting booted to save enough tickets to buy things to test as did most everyone else. Anyway, it's test and I am just glad I didn't work as hard as some saving up the tickets for the roadster only to have the price go through the roof .
Thanks everyone for your responses.

Oh, oh, oh, OH. I guess I saw the Roadster's tires by mistake on the polls.

My son had forbade me from buying any more accessories as he wanted me to get the roadster.

I'm just glad I bought the black paint before it went from 1,000 tickets to 10,000!

I for one waited until the black paint price skyrocketed before buying it. And I'm glad I did.
I also always wait before gassing up the car till the price goes up, squeezing the last drop out of the tank before doing so.
Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks......
