Memory leak with new track?

Folks :
Last night playing ...
Other then a cool new track and a ton more jellybeans i seemed to experience degrading performance as time went on...

After I finally quit TT I noticed my memory usage was over a gig and closing TT only cleaned up 300 meg. I'm thinking they have a memory leak and intend to report it but wanted to see if anyone else had seen anything similar...

I havn't had the chance to play for an extended period of time, but I have noticed that it takes much longer to load the races. With each subsequent race I do, it does get worse. Maybe today I will be able to test this out further.

RB, I have this problem too. It leaks the memory but doesn't replace it when I close TT. In fact, this has been happening to me right along since they opened GSW altogether. I have reported this as well as another friend of mine.
What gets me is that Disney has known about the memory leak on the open servers forever. I could be wrong, but frankly I just don't see them doing a whole lot to fix either issue.

Before CC came out, I would watch as my RAM went to an unusable level as tt loaded (I have a program called FreeRAM that defrags RAM if it gets below a certain level, and it would defrag as soon as I got onto my toon.)

Yesterday, it wasn't AS bad, but my RAM still got down into the 30-40 meg available range within about 20-30 minutes.

However, closing out toontown and relaoding it always brought back my full RAM (knock wood).

What if...

...the memory leak is on purpose?

What's the easiest way to curtail someone playing TT for very long sessions?
Add a bug that causes the game to get slower and slower...

Hmmm....

Ha! Now that is a great point, something I hadn't considered before.
By now we all can see that Disney's concern is time-based. The longer it takes us to advance in the game the more "toon bucks" they earn.
I would hope that they wouldn't stoop to s****ing the bottom of the barrel in that way, although you may never know.

I have noticed that over that last several weeks, I have logged off of TT and received a notice that my virtual memory is low. Raises some questions....

Perhaps this is their way of weeding out the users with slower PCs so they will quit complaining about lag..lol.

I think you should report this, isn't it the testers job to report things like this?

Unfortunately I am not on Test because I play Toontown UK.
