BOOO false reporters

my test account got put on hold which i assume means i wont get it back because there are lots of people who want to test. they took it for "It has recently come to our attention, either through direct
observation
and/or in-game chat with other players, that you are using SpeedGear or
!xspeed within Disney’s Toontown Online."
this makes no sense to me because i have only played it one time at my neighbors house (i was babysitting and he wanted to see it) and my sister who is too young to cheat like that. i think that people need to lighten up on reporting if this is a mistake. i dont see y anyone would report my sister but it is sad that things like this happen.

does anyone kno a fast way to get it back i have already emailed disney although i doubt i will get a reply soon -_-.

Played what one time? The "program that speeds you up" or TT test? If you used the program at your friends house under your account then that's why they shut you down. It doesn't matter who's computer you are on it is still your account. I am sorry you lost your account with test. It is harsh but they can't make exceptions with this "cheat" program. I hope others will read your post and realize that doing it just ONCE will also get you in trouble.

Seems like the starter of the thread DID in fact use it once. If this is true, then I am sorry to say that you got what you deserved. !xSpeed is not something to play around with, if you do decide to use it to show it off, or for another reason, it only takes ONE time to get caught.
Good luck on getting your account back, but I doubt it.

The Thread Starter obviously meant that they had only played goofy's speedway once. Honestly, you think they meant that they 'played' XSpeed, or whatever the other one was? If they had meant they had used that program to cheat they would have used the word 'used'.

Please read my post thouroughly. Do you see the word "SEEMS". It's in black and white. This means that that is what I THINK, I never said that the starter for sure cheats. Thanks..

That means she meant that she had only played goofy's stadium once ever. not that she used XSpeed once. there's nothing to think about, use of words is law.

just so everyone knos i posted under western girl my sister went on my ttc under my account on comp and i didnt notice until now that i was using her name lol.

and yes that was sincere i dont think anyone should cheat it ruins the game -_- i encourage everyone not to becasue the point of a game is to have fun and even tho some want to win they really didnt win if they cheated to do so.

That's because no one here knows for sure how to go about getting your account back. It's pretty much in TT's hands at this point.

Sounds to me like they don't know what to do about it either and they're waiting to hear something back from the big wigs. Since this is TT's first occurance with third party programs, they'll have to set a policy for all future events that may occure when third party programs are being used. It's a big deal for MMORPGs to figure out how they wish to proceed when dealing with third party programs for the first time. Hopefully, they will take examples from Knights online, runescape, Guild Wars, WoW, etc. and how they decided to handle these matters. The other games had to come up with ways of detecting them with no doubts remaining, do their best to prevent their usage, and what to do with users that use these types of programs to take advantage over other users in the game. All of these other games have set firm policies to ban user accounts if they are detected using a third party program. If you've never used one, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. You should get your account back after they've figured out how to handle this situation.
