Laff from trophies????

I just received my August newsletter with the following info:

Starting next month Toons will race off on a new adventure in a new neighborhood! Each Toon will start with 200 tickets which can be used to purchase a starter kart and basic accessories from Goofy’s Auto Shop. Earn more tickets to customize your kart with each race you win.

Use your kart to face off against your friends and earn the fastest time on Goofy Speedway’s three tracks - City Circuit, Screwball Stadium, and Rustic Raceway. Accessorize one of three kart models - Roadster, TUV, or Cruiser - with custom decals, rims, hood ornaments, spoilers, and more.

Set your sights on Goofy Speedway trophies and turbo-boost your Laff limit!

Does this mean we can get laff from earning trophies????

It probably does. I heard this from another thread, so this wasn't origionally my idea:

Maybe if you earn enough trophies for every track then you'll get a laffboost for each track, giving you an even 120.

I think so, because you get LP for fishing as well as trophies.
I think once you get one of the 3 big trophies at the bottom of the GSW page in your Shticker Book, then you will get the LP.

This mite be a lil off topic, but on the trofy thing, anyone know what trofies r on the top and bottom rows? I only know 9 in the middle row

i think when u get a certain amount of trophies u get a laff boost because getting 1 trophy is sooooo easy

I think when you complete a row you get a big trophy and laff.
But i hate that things... In cog hq or toontasks, if you do what you need, you alweys get your laffs... And when you need a trophies you never can be sure if you get your trophy or not, and all you need is lucky... If you need something for your trophy, you can try one time and get it, or try 100 times and not get it... This is very not fair.

So far, here is what I know about the trophies. Not sure if it's been posted elsewhere...

row one is qualifications. Haven't really figured out HOW one gets a qualification, I think it has to do with times, but not sure. There is one trophy for each of the racetracks (which totals 6) but don't know what the last one for each racetrack is. In other words, rustic raceway qualified, rustic racewat rev qualified, etc.

Row two is race wins. One for your first win, one for 5 wins. Don't have the third trophy yet, so have no idea if it is 10, 50, 100, whatever.

No trophies is row 3. Don't know what they are.

I hope that they will not link Speedway success to Laff boosts - it's not exactly 'saving Toontown.' Sure, it's fun...for a while. I can see myself doing a few races here and there, but honestly don't think I'll spend that much time playing there. If I wanted to play a racing game, I wouldn't be playing Toontown...I'd find a racing game to play.

Kids love racing...I have a feeling when the bugs are out it will be a lot of fun..
the only I wish is that we could actually see our cars, maybe have them parked on our estate to ....you know....just lean against Lol.

Rats I keep doing this...Sally Kat here, Cheezysaurus is my son, who really likes the racing but keeps getting booted. **sigh**

Not cuz I don't believe you, but because I am more a visual person and want to see how the trophy/laff point thing works.

Once its back up I will post my trophy page.
I haven't figured out the qualifications yet, but I believe they have to do with your time for the race.

Anybody have any idea how many laff we can get?
