Lost 1k tickets - peeved

So we had just finished the 2nd race for the grand prix and I was tied for first - the screen went to change to the next race but just went black. After a bit, it popped me back to the main entrance of the track saying I had timed out and I would not be refunded my tickets. Has this happened to anyone else before? I'm quite irritated because I lost the day's worth of tickets as it take a fair bit to get 500 tickets via qualifying runs. A glitch cost me the rest of the weekend of fun, unless I were willing to work for those tickets again. I'm not however, because it'd quite likely happen again, and more hours would be wasted.

Awww that stinks sooo much. Hopefully that doesnt happen to you or anyone ever again. Good luck getting more tickets.

Ouch! Toontown is very buggy and the bugs aren't always fixed -- even the ones that are known. It seems that someone in that group was experiencing lag, and I think it would have been better off to refund your tickets. But since it didn't, I hope you're resilient and get your tickets back.

Honestly, I think they SHOULD be refunded considering it wasn't your fault at all

That really stinks. It's happened to me before as well.
Have you tried contacting Disney?
Not that you'd get a straightforward answer anyway.

Been there! I have lost 1000 tickets during a grand prix due to time out, and that happened twice already.

that's happened to me at least twice. That's why I never race for the 1000 ticket deposit. I wait for it to change to 500, that way if I time out I am not too upset. Don't give up though.

I remember when I was racing my toon Dawg Father, and Disney had done some type of small updates on TT. After the updates I kept getting booted. I was trying to get my grand prix races and about half or more of my races I would get logged out just before the first race started; losing 1000 tickets. I would hear the motors start, then screen would go black, then I would get logged out. This happened to me about 12 times or more. Very very very frustrating.

It used to happen to me so much that I quit racing for a few months. Like you, I couldn't afford to keep earning tickets so that I could race again. It seemed like it was better for a while and I was able to do as much racing as I wanted. The grand prix races still tended to time out about once every ten races or so. If you are only having this problem in the grand prix between tracks, you can still race in the regular races. Hopefully, you will have enough tickets when you switch back to grand prix to not be too upset if you time out again.

That happens to me almost EVERY time on my computer! I get extremly mad, and that's why it took me so long to get a roadster. It's so unfair

when I was doin the gran prix I won and the exit screen never came up I was wating for ten mitues then I got back I lost every ticket I had and only had the bonus tickets with no mesage
