okay.. so i just thought i might give some tips on the little present things you get on the tracks.. winning races isnt only about being skillful on the turns, but also knowing when to use the special items.

lets start with the pies..
YEAH, i hate the pies. they dont slow me down that much, and i doubt they slow many others down either.. (maybe just the noobs) i usually just get rid of the pie when i first get it.

okay.. banana peels..
im not a very big fan of these either (still better than the pies..) .. but they can be helpful.. if you wanna win a race, then where you drop the banana peels is important. if you get a banna peel, drop it right in front of the next set of presents. then when a toon goes and tries to get an item, he will slip and slow down.. or you can drop it on one of the speed boosts. (which ever comes first) if you decide to drop it on a speed boost, try and drop it right in the middle of the arrows. this way, its hard to drive around it and still get the extra speed. OR drop it just before the arrows. this way, the toon will probably try and miss the peel, thus also missing the speed. but i think the best place to drop it is just a tiny bit AFTER the arrows (or right at the tip of the arrows). i say this because when you get the extra speed, you usually dont turn, just let it go straight, so it will be hard to drive around the peel without hitting a wall or something. the only bad thing about the banana peels is that you might slip on your own in the next lap..

speed boost!!
DONT USE SPEED BOOST NEAR TURNS!! if you get a speed boost, dont use it when theres a turn near, wait for a straight road.. turning is hard enough as it is, and going faster makes it even harder, so just be patient and wait for the right time.

anvils.. (my personal favorite)
okay, anvils are a great item to get, esp. if youre only racing one other person (or if youre in second place). use the anvil when the person in first has just ran over a speed boost. this way, that person doesnt get extra speed, while you and the other toons get to zoom right past them! also, if you are in second place, its the end of the final lap, and youre really close to being in first place, use the anvil just before that person in first crosses the finish line. this way, you get ahead into first, and you dont have to worry about loosing your first place status (for you will have already finished the race). but make sure you dont wait too long to use it. if you are far enough behind, then you may not have passed the person by the time they get going again. so time it right.!

That was nice of u to write all that out!!
*i try use the arrows from presents when im going up hill..on the straight road u can pick up good speed to get throught it pretty fast
*if u get an arrow and your in front save it till someone anvils u then u wont lose at the last second
and
*i anvil when the other toon just starts on the hill..(thats soo mean .. so if anyone races with me u cant use that trick on me) they come to a complete stop headed up hill..its real hard to get speed going again after that .. and if u do that on the last lap its almost a sure bet u will win

Can I add that pies actually can be useful? For me, it's rare to get anvils. Usually, I get stuck with pies. So I know how to use them effectively. If you're right behind someone, hit them with the pie right around a turn so they can't see and drive correctly. I did this on my sf and I won the race, even though he anviled me twice.

I find that sometimes toons put bannana peels all in one place to act as
a barrier. If you do get stuck in said situiation throw a pie at the guy ahead of you so he cant see (or aviod) the bannana peels

and did you know that you can use your cart as a weapon too.
Its true!!!!if a toon gets too close behind you he will get bumped back
Just make sure it doesnt happaen to you by mistake
