Keeping time on 9 hole?

I was just timed on one of the holes or something. At the end of 9 holes I had won by two points and it showed the ranks. Except it said like 1'39"76 or something. Did I do the course in a minute? Is there an event going on?

Help?!

I'm doing another rigth now. I will get a screenshot if it happens again.

I believe the time shown is the time each toon used to AIM the ball.
The time after each toon hit the ball is not counted.
Read the tie breaker announcement when the game is over,
it says aiming time.
