Poor Sports

I have encountered many toons that are mean and disrespectful. Once, while on the hard course we were both playing an average game, Me always encouraging him telling him "Nice Shot" and he was not responding, which didn't bother me because some toons multitask But then I hit one lousy shot and I say "Drat" And he says "Ha Ha" repeadedly, I just ignore it and still encourage him the rest of the game, and then on the last hole of the Hard course I was in the lead, he misses his shot and says "Ha Ha Bye" And exits, I was very angered at this, and no matter how far behind I am, I never leave, others need wins too and plus, It gets points for Multiplayer, and Courses played. The sad thing is, this has encountered more than once with different toons and I am very dissapointed.

This is one reason I wont play with randoms. Until Disney fixes it to where it is fair to those who stick it out through the long run, I will not subject myself to the new-found griefing. I know Disney was trying to encourage us to golf more with other toons but it backfired in their face. I think that toons who deliberately do this should be penalized.

I couldn't possibly agree more. Toons who are guilty of this-please think twice about it. On top of all that, with the glitches that still need to be worked out, I have witnesses putting toons get messed up when another toons exits. The interruption in the game many times causes the ball to go all screwy.

Please have some respect and don't be immature enough to X out of a game. You can't expect to win them all, don't be a sore loser.

Yea, I don't really understand why someone would do that! You still get points for multiplayer don't you? Ahh the nerve of some people...

But you know what I have learned? Is that some people enjoy angering others. They find it..."entertaining." And really it isn't.

I totally agree that Disney should do something, like make it so you can't X out or something. I hear stories all the time from friends saying that people do that to them! It is rediculous! Lets have SOME respect...

i alawys make sure im with a sf because if he/she needs to go they can tell me and i can trust them so ik they wont ditch or leave during the game

That's too bad I must admit I once left because I had to go, But I would never say Ha Ha! to someone who made a mistake!

I have something similar...

1) The toon will get on the golf cart and hop off at the last second. I hate this. You never know if they're there to, oh I don't know, stay on. This gets annoying pretty fast.

2) Toons will log off with the Alt+F4 technique if they make a bad shot. So what if you didn't get as good of a shot as were hoping? Don't be a jerk and leave if you can't make it into the volcano. It takes more time to log off and then on again than it does to just finish the course. Who knows? Maybe you'll get a trophy!

Same thing happened to my wife and I. We were on a cart while the clock counted down I continuously said one more? No thank you. and at last second this pig jumped on. We didn't really care that someone joined us. We were trying to go just the 2 of us but oh well. It started off fun. All the while we were courteous the pig and encouraging to it with lots of "Nice shot."s. After the second hole of 6 it continuously berated us with No!! Please don't bother me. Please go away. When we got to the last hole I was in the lead by like 5 shots ahead of it, my wife was 4 shots ahead of it and it started to tell us "You stink!"

As soon as we landed back in the playground there it TPed to me and continued to stink me. It said lets wait for my friend and like 3 other toons TPed to it and joined in on stinking me. All this because we won and were encouraging? So we just continued on to another cart across the playground all the while this pig and his friends were TPing to me stinking me to "please go away" Good grief, some poor sports/sore losers. I can just imagine what they are like in real life.

I also have encountered the same people, I can't say enough to report all you have seen. If Disney doesn't know about it they can't fix the problem. So report each time you have an issue!

Well so far, I haven't played with any toons like this. Its probably good to report them, but its kind of not worth the trouble. There will be tons of toons like this, and there won't be any way to stop it. (Disney isn't the most reliable, I'm sure everyone on TTC knows this)

Oh yeah and when it comes to encouragement, I like to encourage other players and I like being encouraged too.. but saying something after every single shot on every single course and replying gets tiring. I like to focus on my shots, and just get it done!

There is no way TT will go after any one particular toon, but they will change there way of doing things. This is a game we pay for and if alot of people are upset by something they will try to change it. Its still a work in progress for the golfing, still time to change things.

I also found it very annoying with people who just alt F4 when they lost in the game, especially on the 9 hole course. It takes so much time to finish the course, and when you lead, they just exit, what a waste of time. I'd prefer go with SF on the long course, because they will stick with the game till the end.

it will catch up to them in the end, the wont get the points for playing either, takes them longer to level up.

all the more reason to just play with SF

How Annoying!

Not only are they missing out on a course completed, but possibly a course under par, birdie and eagle shots, and multiplayer course complete. The way they set up the trophys in golf, you don't need to just go in for the win, you get points for everything else, too.

Just stay in the game....
