My daughter and son both each did a few races one day when I was close to getting all of the rural races finishined, and my daughter traded maybe 20 races with me on her toon. That has been the exent of my using child labor for TT. My son does enjoy the golfing though, so we'll see...

Like the OP, I don't trade wins. But, I don't hold it against people who do. I don't play this game to 'win' in the shortest amount of time. I have been playing TT since Alpha, and I have yet to max a toon (darn fish), but I still enjoy playing. I love mid-game (Oldman is my hero).
To me, trading wins is like 'grinding' in all of the other MMORPGs I've played. That's why I don't play them anymore. There is room in this game for all of us. |

I feel a lot worse about winning races and rounds of golf against younger children than I ever would about trading wins with a friend. It really bothered me every time I raced and won, knowing that, chances are, it was a younger child I just beat who‘s trying hard to earn tickets for a new cart or paint job. I feel the same way out on the golf course. If I’m playing with adult friends and it’s a free for all, I don’t mind winning at all (or losing). But, as an adult, I can’t help but feel guilty when I’m playing with randoms and win, since I never know how old they are. Granted, some younger children become fairly skilled racers and will be good at golfing, too. But, most of them aren’t going to win against adults who frequently play. I’d rather trade wins with a friend (or play it fair and square with them) then go out and get my wins against a lot of little kids. Just thought I’d throw that into the mix when adults are considering whether winning “fair and square” (often against children) is really better than trading wins with a friend. |

I agree. And I find myself 'throwing' the golf round if I can tell that I may be playing against someone young and/or not skilled if they genuinely sad (not throwing a tantrum) about missing a bunch, of what seems to me to be, easy shots.
