How do you greet other toons?

Which phrase(s) do you use to greet other toons?

I'd say Hi, hi there, how are you doing, and the emotion wave.

Hi, hi there, hey, howdy, hi everybody and wave as well lol. But that's just for non-sf friends. (Which I only have.. 3 of lol.)

I usually say "Hi!" or "Hey!"
The only problem with "Hey!" is if you whisper it to someone, they might mistake it for the angry hey.

I say pretty well all of them except Hey! I never use that one because its also a stink speedchat phrase :P

I say Hello! (my 7 year old brother doesnt greet his friends. and xes them for no reason to make friends with ONLY DOGS. lol)

The way you tell the difference is in the exclamation point. Well, actually, both have it, so it would be hard to tell when whispering, only when you can show your emotions with it. Otherwise, yeah, I never use it myself.

I was also referring to greeting toons in elevators, and on the streets, not just your friends. Most of the posters seem to be mentioning only their friends. I always use "Hi everybody!" when greeting toons in elevators, and then "Hello!" when whispering to my friends or other times.

I use "Hi There!" and a wave. it's just the ol' Comet S. way of greeting peoplee.

If they're someone I see regularly, I say "Hi there!" followed by "Good to see you!" or just "Good to see you!" Otherwise, it's "Pleased to meet you."

My toon's been in a St. Patrick's Day Mood, house, clothes, and speedchat wise.... (I bought all the St. Patrick's Day phrases. =P) so I'll normally say "Top o' the morning to you!"
