Dropless. It's kinda too hard to train it when you do not have a piano.

I'd so go dropless. Toonup I think is important. And I think many people are uncomfortable running with toon up less toons.. so if you went the tuless rout you may encounter some unnecessary rudeness along the way. And like others have said, yes you can toonup with doodles and unites and SOS cards. BUT It takes a LONG time to max a doodle unless your hard core about it and spend tons of time every day. Also, I believe the max toonup from a doodle after all that hard work is only 22 laff points. Juggling ball toonup gives like 40 each I believe... And then there is the lvl 7.. which I personally haven't had occasion to actually use. But yeah, it's nice to be able to reliably toonup more than 22 laff.

Then there are the SOS cards and unites. Yep, those are great, unites don't waste a turn in battle which I really like. But you have to make sure your stocked up on those.. you have to keep doing runs.. you don't always get the one you want when you run. That's a challenge. And also, when other players are running with you there is no way for them to know if you are a skilled palyer, there is no way for them to know if you have a maxed doodle or if you've got a pocket full of sos cards and unites. So in some situations other's might shy away from you. I personally run with TUless all the time b/c there are usually 2-3 others with toonup... But for me I still think it's really important to have.

Chose whatever you feel is best and what you are comfortable with and have fun.
