That was extremely mean and uncalled for. This poll was to help other toons make decisions for the gags they want to pick. It was also made for discussing the matter of being a soundless toon, or not. This was NOT made to put people down.
"Half of them don't even know what to do to help the DO have sound!!" What if that toon is a child let's say 7 years old? My neighbor is 9, and she is STILL working on figuring the whole game out. You should think about that first before you accuse people of not knowing what to do. I think that was very mean. How would you like it if someone put you down because you didn't have a certain gag track? I would appreciate it if you wouldn't post anything mean or hurtful on here.

Well I think if you would like to try going without sound, you should do it. I personally dont think that I would ever go without it just because I love it too much. But It is actually not all that hard to get along in a battle with a toon who is soundless. Just look at "soundless in soundland" He totally knows what its like to be soundless in a land of sound! lol

If you wanna try it, then ! say more power to ya! rofl

Haven't read most of the thread, so don't think I'm repeating anything.

Soundless are fine to me now. I used to always check gags and laff, but now I really don't, only to see if they have their gags. Of course, I mainly run with my friends and haven't been running with randoms much. But as long as they know how to play, what's the problem with them? If they're clueless, then yes I do have a problem.

I would say it is hard to be soundless. Everyone else sound, and all you can do is lure or toon up.

TUless people and soundless people are ok when there is only one in the group.
I actually don't mind if there are 2 TUless people...
The people with TU could toon the group & each other up.
But if there is 2 or 3 soundless in a group, the people that do have sound sounds become worthless.

Because for "team games" as you call them, sound is a team gag.
Sound is horrible when it is just one person.
I mean, 50 damage? Weak.
But when used together, 200 points can take out a whole row of level 12s. xD

Throw and squirt are team gags, and toon-up, and trap and lure are too.
And that is also the point! All the other gags can work with just one or two toons, but sound requires at least 3 to really be useful.
Your first statement mostly rounds up the reason that I *dislike* sound toons... This post really is far from the quote, isn't it?

Well, what makes you think that they don't have other toons that DO have sound? Or they may just not have ANY way to help someone with this "team" gag. Sound doesn't help other gags...

I think going soundless is the best way to go, at least for your first toon.
I mean, going soundless teaches you strategy with all your other gags.

Whereas having sound lets you 'cheat' your way through the battles.

That is defintly not true. On my soundless toon,
I hardly ever had problems with people not wanting to go with me.
Sure, it wasn't a 100+ toon, but I did go in vps, factories and mints.
Same with my Toon-Upless. I get a "I think you should choose TU,"
and "You stink!" once in a while, but it's not anything that would
make me cry. Lol. Most of the people get on with me, anyway...
So what you said isn't true.

I don't know why people have an issue with TU-less toons, anyway.
If you go in with team battles with people that have TU,
it's not a big deal. It WILL be a tiny bit harder,
but that doesn't mean it's going to be near impossible.
It won't slow down the fight, either. If atleast 2 people have TU,
then it will be easy.

There's Toon Up unites and SOS's, too!
Right now I have some unites I could use if someone really needed it.

The whole time I've played toontown I've never went soundless, So I really dont know what It would be like, though I couldn't go without sound. Also, I've never went Toonupless and I've died many times in the past from people not having Toonup so I would never go that way either. Though I have nothing against people not having toonup, sound or whatever they dont have.
