Soundless?

Im soundless and it rocks sometimes, but sometimes people stink u for not having sound and won't go in the mint ( Da, Fac, ect.)with u. When u don't have sound u kinda go slower in the mint , DA, ect. Idk which one u should choose tho. U decide

its kind of hard to have a soundless toon because most toons dont want to go w/ u so i got sound

I haven't voted since I don't have sound myself so I have no expierience of not having other gags.
BTW Person above me that is not true. I am Lvl. 10 MH and Lvl. 8 BC (I think )

I am soundless and I picked Soundless is the way to go. But if I think about it more sound is VERY useful and I hate trap I haven't been able to get past trapdoor in years :P

I am soundless and I hate trap too lol. But I still stick to what I chose(even if trap stinks).

I have 1 toon that doesn't have trap, 1 toon that doesn't have drop and a soon to be uber. The toon that doesn't have trap was my first toon. I made many mistakes with him, and I no longer play him. My second toon is dropless. I miss the safes and stuff from my first toon, but I couldn't trade in a gag track for drop (Obviously). I really don't like sound and my soon to be uber has 4 tracks, Toon up, Throw, Squirt, and Drop. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE drop. I am probably going to go soundless on my uber, but I'm still contemplating. That's why I made this poll. I was either thinking of trapless, or soundless. But I want the adventure, I want the thrill of being soundless. Which is why my uber will probably be soundless, when I start up tasks again. But I made this poll for mainly 2 reasons:
#1 To let people discuss the matters of being soundless, and their reasons
and #2 to help myself, and other new toons with deciding gags. :]

But I hope this poll will help a lot of people overall on deciding which gags are right for them. :]

I suppose I am soundless by choice, but I don't think it's a choice I will make again. It's all my son's fault! He's 5 and he used Sound everywhere when he first got it. I was so annoyed by it that I decided to rebel and go soundless. I had no idea that this decision would later result in being stunk and abandoned on one of every 3 mint runs.

So, my current position is that soundless toons are for intelligent folks that like a challenge and have no use for a lazy gag like Sound. That position will likely change on my next toon who will, most definitely, not be soundless

Pick sound, and don't pick Toon-up.

Sound does more damage, and Toon-up only toons-up laff meters.

That was my first thought when I chose Sound on Big Flip.

OUCH! lol. I have never abondoned toons in the mint, unless I was in with an SF and 2 little toons that had no business in the mint. (20 - 50 Laff)

But still, I think soundless is best. I like the challenge. One reason why I stopped playing my 110 Laff pig (Dropless) was because it was so boring with sound. So hopefully if I make my toon soundless it will hold my interest longer.

I don't discriminate toons without toon up. I would jump on an elevator to the CJ with toon up-less toons, but think about THIS.

Let's say we are battling the CJ. No toon on that elevator has toonup. Both sides have no way of tooning each other up, if sound misses, or if gags don't do enough damage, they are toast. Without toon up, toon's can't survive anywhere. I don't think I would make a toon that didn't have toon up. I would feel so horrible if I was the reason a toon couldn't make it through a battle. I'm not saying you're a horrible person for not picking toon up, and beleive me, I would battle ANY cogs with you, but if my entire side is stuck without toon up, then I would end up abondoning. I would rather abondon, and keep my laff and gags.

You got a good point there. Sometimes I wish that I did pick Toon-up.

I have nothing against soundless toons, I'm sfs with a few, but I'd give up drop for sound. >_>

Soundless toons are cool to battle with, but aren't when you *Ahem* suddenly have to get off real fast to go somewhere or such.
But I have nothing against them.

My big toon, 108 laff, is soundless. Sure there are times when I wish I had it (when doing boss battles and factories with toons who only want to use sound), but for the most part "I Love It".

Most of my toon friends are cool with me not having sound and most "stranger" toons. However I have come across a few bad apples. One even went so far as to "run" from the boss factory once they learned I had no sound. (But we finished it without him...hee hee)

I think everyone should have one toon who is soundless. But that's just my opinion.
