How do you feel about TU-less?

People say that toon upless is ok if u have a doodle but did u notice that even maxed doodles can not do a trick
the first time u get a doodle the possibility of it working is 5%

I love my tu-less toon. And to the previous poster, a fully maxxed doodle does tricks very well and consistently, they miss around the same as the TU gags.

Its not our fault you died because someone wasn't considerate enough to tell you they were toon-upless

Maybe you should think abit before you go into a building with one instead of assuming the person has toonup.

Just a note for all of you that hate/dislike us, if you feel you wouldn't have a chance on earth that you'd die doing something with a toon-upless, hit a uncrowded dist and leave us alone

Just because doodles don't always work doesn't mean your going to go sad. Unites and SOS cards were created for a reason . Also did you even think about the gag lure? Its there for a reason, SO WE DON'T KILL YOU ^__^.

Most of the time people die with us is when their stupid enough to use their marbles on a level 12 cog when we lure, thus getting them attacked and killed. Maybe you all wouldn't die if you knew what "I think you should choose a different gag" means.

I'm a TU-less toon too.
I'm a 66 though.

One of the things I did to protect myself and others, is spend all my time
training my gags. Right now, they are all level six--- and under 1000 to
maxing lure, sound, throw, and squirt. Keep in mind, I just got a safe Friday
night.... it took me two days to get the piano. At this rate, I will be maxed
before I am 80 laff.

I'd say TUless toons ARE stronger, especially if you become semi-uber like I
did. (Got all my gags up really fast, *I've only been playing for 3 weeks and 4
days*, and ignored all my tasks till I got all my level 6 gags.) Take any normal
toon between the laffs of 66 to 100, that has TU. Yeah, they may have
ToonUp. But one to two of their gags may be maxed, but some of them might
still be a level 4 gag.


There has only been one person who died because I did not have TU. But I
died soon after too, as with the other person who went with us. But 99% of
the time, at least for me, everyone survives. Like yesterday, during a VP,
someone was at 40 laff, and nobody else had TU. There were loads of level 12
cogs just itching to make us go sad, but we killed them off-- and there was
only 3 people on our side.



But yeah, some toons are so accustomed to being tooned up often, that they
freak out when they lose seven points--- the 100s+ freak out when they lose
seven points. I mean, COME ON. I would understand if you were a 30-60, but
pretty much after that, grow up. I was reading this one thread, where the
guy had a really big laff, and he lost less than 10 laff, and he would not toon
up someone who only had 7 laff left until the toon tooned him up first.

Four people on the run and someone's afraid of a couple of skraypes because one doesnt carry tu gags? That sounds a bit silly.

There are so many ways to revive laff. In the most urgent situations, a gag isn't even possible.

I find that most people who whine over TU-less toons at elevators are the type who will snarf treasures with only 5 laff down from their 120, and they're more dangerous to work with IMHO.

i love tuless. i wish my brother didnt talk me out of not being it.i mean i guess i use it little [ im level 64 and have pixie dust] but all the other ones are so much funner! and now im dropless which my brother also talked me into being.

The point of the game is to kill cogs, not see how many times you can juggle cubes or dance with a stick and a hat.

Toon Up wastes so much time, also. When you want to make the invasion, for example, you of course would not want to Toon-Up each other to the maximum amount of laffpoints so you can be happy. You'll use your gags and kill the cog before the invasion will end.

Toon-Upless are the only ones who have a good chance of winning a no SoS or Unites solo. Because then in the solo, you would need each gag contribution. Solo is a great thing to do because it teaches you about indepedence. In normal groups, you rely on the other toons to toon you up, but in a solo, you have to be the other toon. You have to work hard to get enough Unites or SoS or Doodle strength.

My doodle has Jump & Speak maxed because I find that essential, just in case I go in a 4-man. & I have done plenty of those and did not once have to use my doodle. It's strategy, not gags. People might think that soundless toons are so much trouble to go with, but you'd be suprised if you saw how good their strategy is... if they know the game well enough.

And, besides, one toon juggles and the another toon will toon up the juggling one. So, why must the whole group have Toon Up? That is just silly. I like it when a whole group does not have Toon Up, it's possible to survive & much more fun than a group who does have Toon Up, but we atleast just need two toons to make it seem more normal. Why annoy us to death if we don't have Toon Up? The others do, and you only need two people.

I personally don't understand why one would want to be toonless but I do not hold it against them for making that choice. Being a US Marine I realize that my most important asset in battle is that Marine in the foxhole next to me. Keeping that person alive and fighting is important in my opinion and I have much more respect for those who choose to keep thier teammates alive. Will I get on an elevator with a toonless toon, sure, as long as there are others there who can provide a toon-up. I am admittedly alot less worried now a days as I do solo runs on level 5 buildings and the Sellbot factory from time to time, but I must admit it is comforting to now that the toon next to me could help if things get really ugly.

Going tune less is a personal choice and to choose that is fine, it just would not be my choice...

I think it all depends...like I wouldn't go on an elevator with 3 other TUless toons, but I wouldn't mind doing a VP, building, etc. with one or two TUless toons, as long as someone else had TU also so we wouldn't all die.....
