What do you hate most about Lil Oldman?

What makes you hate Lil Oldman so much? I don't particually hate him (he gave me lure!), although I agree he's hard to complete.

I am anti-LOM.

I enjoyed the buildings and learned a lot about lure bonus, gag combos, cog values, etc. while I did them. I built gags while there so I actually think it's a good task to prevent toons from advancing to the next playground with weak gags and insufficient strategy.

My beef with LOM is his rating as a 5 star SOS toon. I'd give him 3 stars, and list him as equal to a level 2, tiny red, Barbie magnet. I would encourage Disney to tweek him so that he always hit, and he held for a minimum like hyno goggles. Since he's a special card, like the other 5 stars, he should be just a bit better than the best gags...not equal to the worst!

He's so inconsistent! I lure with him and of the 4 cogs pulled in by the lure, at least 2 will wake to hit in one round, but you don't know which one or two that will be.

I like the toad deal, it's so easy to fish up. It's right next door, so it's not necessary to run to the end of the next door street, like you'll have to do in DDL. Every task sends you on a wild goose chase all over the place. I wish the grizzly bearacuda would appear in that pond next to his place as easily as the toads.

Overall, although he is annoying, he is extremely helpful and necessary to help toons move up in skills and gags.

Oh I know what you mean. I have seen LOM keep cogs lured anywhere from 2 to 4 rounds. Too inconsistent. You just never know what you will get when he lures for you.

He lures one round, on one of the four cogs, so often for me. I dumped all of them out of my SOS collection. I'd rather realize that I'm out of lure than think LOM is gonna help me out.

Oh wow, I have never seen that. I agree with you that he shouldnt be rated as a 5-star card. I personally would rather have the Lure Unite and lure with my goggles instead.

Actually the thing I hate most about LOM are people who obviously dont have the level of gags and skill they should by the time they see him and call him evil for their shortcomings. It's old really - like a broken record. *zzzzz*

Last LOM20 I did was strictly 5 level bldgs with bigger friends. We're talking bad cake and working to get cloud and goggles, sometimes 2 of us in Polar Place. Ahh yes I got the cane that way too LOL.

And then we did it all over again for another eight for Susan Siesta. Maxed cake there and my elephant (gotten during the LOM20) went to 20 pts.

My friend just finished LOM last week and we are doing 5 level bldgs in DDL for her Susan Siestas, THEN with the larger gag bag she will stop and we'll work on her new gag for a while in TTC and MML before she continues.

btw if you want evil (and dont run 2-3 toons at once ) look at Hysterical Harry. Can be a few dozen big bldgs for him!
