Losing Toon Best Friends

Ive lost so many friends and one recently and eventually ill probably lose more but of course I make new ones and they are great. But, its still not the same.

Oh yes I remember a best friend a very good one. His toon was Doctor Winkle. When Toontown 1st came out we were good friends. Fighting Cogs when Sellbot HQ came out we fought that and just plain had fun. But he soon quit and moved away. It was hard when he left that's one of the major reasons why I quit Toontown in 2004. Cause things wasn't like they be without him.
Now that I have returned in 2007. I meet good friends. I still miss him tho.
He will all be the best friend I ever had.

Yep. Her name was Pearl Pedalpop (I wonder if she goes on TTC) she was awesome, and we usually played together with her buds once a week. Also a cat named Gato. He was cool too. But when I deleted TT (Because my parents forced me to) and decided to go back on after 3 months or so, they were gone =(

Well when i found out TT was free and u could stay on without the 3 day thing i made a 34 Friend and WHen he got a membership i was Glad because i didnt have 1 yet then I got 1 and learned how to Sf and asked him but he Said sorry i cant and i thought he must have parents who dont let him so it had been a while and i Havn't talked to him so I needed space and he was my Last Friend and I deleated him for a Great sf who has been my Sf for quiet a while but yes I saw his uber on my uber and Friended him and he went to my house and showed him the house of my high toon and Said sorry and he was Fine with it as a matter affact he was a Bit confused lol but yes It is Hard to comunicate without sf chat but thts not the Reson i let him go

well if anyone read my post about meme a few weeks ago, she was like one of my best sfs and then mysteriously disappeared..and i am almost positive she didnt quit because she definately wouldve told me. omg, i miss her sooo much! she was like one of my first sfs and such a great tt friend! i know shes not a member of this site, but if anyone knew her she had a 122 and a 124 and then her 45 toon meme which she played regularly..
oh i miss her so much! i know how you feel! we did EVERYTHING together and then she just vanished. i have her and her two high toons on my list still in case they ever come on, lol. its worth giving up 3 spots for her :'(

my BEST friend on tt was captain cj purplesnout. he was my first sf and he was amazing. then he just stopped coming on he hasnt been on in a little over a month and hes still on my list and hes never coming off lol.

It's good to hear that some folks have moved on. I guess in my situation, we became such close friends.... I think we met when we were around 30 laff, and we'd both gotten to 120+. She SF'ed me, and was the second person (outside of family) that I did that with. The first was for a training run in CCG (and I'm still friends with that person as well).

I was surprised how close we'd become, and it really feels hollow without her.... I guess time heals all wounds. Meanwhile, I'm still pretty bummed out.

Although I have very few friends in game, I have a couple still on my list from when I 1st started playing (and one is signed up on TTC) even though they very rarely come on for any length of time anymore. I learned a long time ago not to get to attached to online buddies since they can and will move on without notice.

I was friends with this awesome toon named Blubberscooter. We did everything together and it was great. However, I never see him online, although, I know he seemed to play recently due to his lvl 7 gags and high laff points. Maybe he forgot about me during my 2 year hiatus from Toontown.

Well I used to have this super nice black cat NORMAL friend ( I won't name her because in the end she messed up big time >.<) and we did EVERYTHING together. And we knew eachother for quite a while, and she was really nice and kind an helpful. But then one day when I came online, I saw she was on and I whispered the usual '':-)'' ''Hi!'' ''How are you doing?" When she didn't respond, I whispered about twice ''Hello?'' Then I teleported to her. I greeted her and then noticed she was talking to a sf. She kept on ignoring me, so I repeatedly said ''Hello?'' "How're you doing?" I guess I should've realised she was blanking me. She immediately started using stinky phrases and xed me. I was so upset, I begged and begged for her to friend me again. Then I got seriously annoyed with her and just logged off. I can't believe I lost her though, she was the best normal friend on TT I ever had. Or atleast I thought she was...

So yeah, TT is never the same, but I met some fantastic people I'm sfs with and I know they'll never do that so I think I'm okay really :]

yes, i had a gang...we were enemies/friends....good times/bad times but it was really fun....i wish they would all come back, we are all too old for any of that now....most of us are in college

i lost a friend one day cuz he wasnt very interested in the game anymore and he said his subscription was ending soon anyway...but he got on one day when i wasnt on (i talk to him other places--thats how i no) and he found out his subscription wasnt ended yet...so yeah..i lost one of my best friends on tt one day..but its okay cuz i still talk to him

Toontown is just a video game and unless you know other players in real life it's inevitable that you will lose contact with everyone you play with sooner or later. Yes, there can be those people who you have a lot of fun playing with but try not to set yourself up for disappointment. Enjoy the relationships for what they are and try not to get to attached b/c fact is, (unless they are your real life friends), you don't know them and sooner or later you're going to have to part.

My first friend on toontown was a red rabbit with all red clothes named Fireball. He was a 40 laffer and I remeber him just following me around everytime I got on helping me and showing me where the shops were(I thought it was abit weird at first). He stopped getting on after about 3 weeks. He was awesome.

I've had at least two people I thought were my good friends x me to my face because I was always in the middle of a building/factory/mint/boss battle when they wanted me to help them. >_< It's like they thought that because I'm over 100 laff, I don't have anything better to do than help them.

I remember one clearly. One time, I was about to do something for myself after a day of helping friends and toontasking like crazy (I was really excited to get closer to 100 laff at the time), so one asked me "Can you help me? Let's go take over a cog building. Please!" and I said "Sorry, I can't," because I was about to go into a building myself, and didn't have enough jellybeans or gags to change from soloing a building to a group building setting. Then she said "Hey, hey, hey! That wasn't nice!" and xed me. Oh, excuse me for having a purpose in-game too. Excuse me for not having a bottomless jar of jellybeans or endless bag of gags.

I'd always say "Sorry, I'm in a building! Sorry!" or "Sorry! I'm in the oil room," or whatever to let them know where I was, but I guess eventually they had too much...

I remember I made friends with one toon, a nice mouse who friended me when i was 30-something laff and invited me to take over cog buildings all the time. He was over 10 laff ahead of me, but still we worked together. Then I caught up and eventually surpassed him as far as laff goes, and now I'm 20 laff ahead of him. He doesn't come on much any more, I kind of miss him. =( It was fun running through buildings with the guy. He's still on my friends list, but I really wish he'd come on more often. I miss those times. Only problem is, now I've made lots of other friends who can be quite demanding, so a lot of the time I don't have time even if he is on.... ;-;

Call me selfish if you will. But I have priorities too. I do like helping people, but after a while I want to do something for myself, too.
