Amen! lol

P.S i have never ever seen/read a post longer than that 1st post. Good job though!

yes, i agree. i am a 61 laffer and i dont go into DDL much. what's the need for it? i did used to wander into buildings and hq's for no reason. but i advise to you new toons: stay in TTC AND DD!! it is good in the long run. getting sad where you dont belong isnt the best way to complete toontasks. all the low laffers should work and progress together, and all the high laffers should do the same. dont burden high laffers with a low laffer in tow. it is not fun for anyone.

To the OP:

A lot of good points, and I agree with most of them. And elevator chaos is usually called "shuffling".

I don't mean to be rude, but here are my criteria for laff + gags (ubers not counted, of course)
15-40 laff Weak (No offense to any that are in this range, though)
41-60 laff A bit risky...
61-80 laff Medium
81-105 laff Medium-strong
106-120 laff Strong
121-136 laff SUPER DUPER STRONG
137 laff NO WORDS NEEDED

Once again, I would like to remind you that my post is not meant to offend anyone.
I would place a 15 uber in Strong, but a 34 uber in Medium-strong. Why?
Because it would take a LOT MORE hard work to max at 15 than at 34. Fighting is much riskier at 15 laff, which would definitely mean that you have at least SOME strategy.

I agree fully with all of your points! You wrote exactly what I was too lazy to do! Thank you!

Anyways, you low laff ubers are awesome. You guys have the right to go anywhere, because your gags are so high and you have exceptional strategy. But, what I believe the OP was meaning was low laffs with just a cupcake and squirting flower. Yes, it's fine to explore the neighbourhood, get a taste of what's next for you. But when you vie to go in buildings or HQs that are a wee bit too strong for your level, that's when you need to start backing off and working on getting your toon stronger. You need to understand that we're not being mean or anything, we just want to save you from a disppointing loss. Not only does this hurt you, it would also hurt the other players you go in with. Of course, everybody wants to be with a high laffer, you feel a lot safer with them, but you have to understand that they won't appreciate you bugging them to go in with them, especially when your gags are not quite high enough for a certain building/HQ.

I'm sorry if any of this stuff has already been repeated, I only read the first page of comments (and the original post of course!)

I agree with all of the points you said, especially in the beginning about lower laff toons concentrating on tasks instead of going to tough areas, except for the case of SBHQ. I think it is there for everyone, even ubers and low laffers. All of the other areas, those are valid points. Great post.

Speaking to the OP:
I certainly don't want anyone telling me to stay out of an area simply because of low laff. While I will never go into boss on a 15 laff uber or even cash, you might see me quite a bit doing factories. If anyone tells me it is too risky I certainly won't try to go with them. These are generally inexperienced toons to begin with and yes it is too risky for me to waste my time with them! LOL! More experienced toons don't mind taking low laffers into factories because factories are SO EASY. Most of the cogs in there are tiny! People that are too afraid to take small toons in with them just don't know what they are talking about. I think it is so funny to see toons telling others its too risky when all it is is a factory. Come on people! Don't chicken out!
I understand...I myself am an ex-uber.
But what the poster is talking about is REAL 15 laffers (or other small toons) with only two gags, or maybe three (not tracks but literally two gags, squirting flower and the cup cake, if they are 20+ laffers then maybe three or four)
They are not talking about people that have bigger toons, have been playing for a long time ect ect ect...They mean new people, people who are new to Toontown, people that haven't been playing long. NOT UBERS...Ubers are fine. People who make Super noobs or Ubers want the risk, they know that they might be going sad...
REAL low laffers need to stay in TTC or what ever land their tasks are in, not wander the whole of toontown and cause trouble....For us and themselves

granted i agree they shouldnt be causing trouble but i see nothing wrong with exploring. I explored toontown when i was like at 20 laugh (i'm only at 33 now because i'm on a free account). I went into the lobby of every cog HQ and checked out DDL. Granted because i'm on a free account i cant go into cog buildings or factories, mints, etc. I believe if the smaller toons only take advantage of the priviledges we freebies have, they will be more ok.

That would mean that small toons (using the definition that you used because i agree with that) really should stick to street battles (if that because they will probably go sad) in higher level neighborhoods. I think they should stay away from the factories and other Cog HQ places (except lobbies) and they should stay away from the cog buildings in the tougher neighborhoods...

ok i think i'm starting to repeat myself and make a long post like the OP (lol no offense)

Yes, it is good for Smaller laff toons to look around and clear their maps.
I probably should have gone into more detail by what I meant. On all of my new toons I went everywhere...
So I could go everywhere when my laff was higher, my map would be cleared.
All I meant was for New toons to work on their tasks in their "task area" and not go into Cog golf courses, high story buildings, Mints ect.
Thank you for pointing that out.

The first thing I do when I make a new toon is open up the map. As soon as I can ride that trolley and leave TTC I'm out of there! I run to every place to get that map clear so I'm able to tp to my bigger friends. While running, there have been times I've gotten stuck in a cog battle as I was rounding a corner. It wasn't like I was looking for trouble. I rarely see any high laff toons fighting cogs on the street anyway unless they are getting the number crunchers or 3 rods from bean counters.

Either way, small toons that run around really aren't that big a deal. They want to check things out just like we all did. Honestly, when everyone first started TT did everyone never wander out of the neighbor they were working? Did your first glimpse of Donald's Dreamland happen once you left LOM? I think not.

oh your welcome

i decided to point that out because i know there are people out there who feel anxious about smaller toons clearing their maps or fighting in street battles outside their "home" neighborhood. Just wanted to make sure you weren't one of them hehe

Let me tell you...i felt SO accomplished when i cleared my map lol...it was a great feeling. and i was SO intimidated by DDL...i don't go there unless i want to go to cash HQ lobby (it is cash right? lol see? i don't go very often). those cogs would wipe me out! lol

You can take your toon to any playground you wish, however there are "bigger" cogs in the other playgrounds which could make you go sad a lot quicker. Just be careful
