It's one of those days...

Sometimes toons can be so ungrateful...First I help out a bunch of my friends because I felt nice, but then they kept asking for help over and over and wouldn't help ME...another friend asked me to be her SF but since I can't (I use a game card to play, don't get SF option with it) she stopped talking to me... Sometimes being a high laff toon is a real pain....

So here I am, seeing as none of my friends wanted to help me after I'd helped them multiple times. Only one person was actually nice to me today and they had to log out... Does anyone wanna do something together on TT? I'd like to do something with someone I've talked with for a change...

Yeah, the lower laffers usually think that the higher laffers can help them without expecting a return. Sorry that happened to you, hope next time your friends can help you more. I would, but busy on other things when I'm on. Sorry.

Do you run 2 toons at once? Then join Dualers Paradise to get started! What are you waiting for?

It's a shame you had to experience that . Unfortuntely, there will always be people like that in the game, as well as real life. Best thing to do is stick close to the ones who were nice and helpful and never lose that generosity of yours. As they say, what goes around, comes around

If you like, I could meet up with you on Toontown sometime this weekend. Just PM me a preferred time and place and I'll see what I can do.

Take care!

Uuuffff, I know SF's like that. Ask for SF's of mine to be their SF every time, want help with buildings and facs, etc. I never got nothing in return. But I didn't want anything, I just can't help then every minute I'm online...

That's all too common nowadays. There are days in which I'll have to go through 4 or 5 Cog buildings in a row with different friends (because they're in such a hurry they can't wait for me to refresh gags and Laffs between buildings). If I'm lucky, I get enough of a break to join a CCG run (I choose only "Kill X Cogs anywhere" jellybean rewards for my Just for Fun tasks, meaning I don't need to fish or ride the trolley for jellybeans).

Because I'm selective in what tasks I take, they are in a sense "helping me". However, the only real way I can develop my Toon further are via Cog boss runs (other methods of increasing max Laffs have diminishing returns - just ask anyone who's caught 60+ fish how long it takes for each additional new one). Training Doodles helps a little (as it can reduce downtime between battles when gathering starfish in Donald's Dock isn't an option).

Needless to say, this affects my Toon's abilities - it's taking him a lot longer than it should to build up Trap and Drop (and to a lesser extent, Toon-up). I'm often the one that Stuns/Lures the Cogs so that the others can practice their Drop and Trap. Yeah, I've seen way too many flower pots and banana peels used on the upper floors of buildings.

This is one reason I have other Toons do some of the maintenance work for my main Toon. They tend the garden and train the Doodles (things my main Toon often can't do because he's doing Cog battles non-stop).

Never accept payment for a kindness. (Although, tips sure are nice!)

I have a couple low laff friends (not saying any names...)
Most of the time THEY want help and stalk me, whisper to me and tp to me nonstop.
I've only one friend that really offers to help me out after I've done stuff for them.
That toon (the you help me and I'll repay you for your kindness) are very kind but very, very rare.
I can make SF but I don't untill I'm positive whether they are an adult or child or even someone I'd WANT to be able to talk with.
So when someone asks me to be SF I don't say yes very often, some people just can't expect that...
when a toon says "Sorry I can't" ...They can't!.
Its not your fault that you can't make SF! Those people just need to deal with it, its not that you don't like them (Well, this case my be an exception) and you wouldn't want to be their SF its just that you can't.... Those people were very rude to you and I'm sorry.
