Is a 71 laff too risky...

No it isn't too risky. Your laff is fine for 5 stories in DL. I took my 37 laff cat to DL the other day and came across a 4 story. I needed a 2 story anywhere so this was perfect! LOL! I have fruit pie, seltzer, and trumphet. I stood there and two toons came up. The 104 cat was nasty and said it was too risky. I told her I think not. She said You wish! The 90 laff pig didn't say a word. We went in and it went just fine. No tooning was needed til the last floor when I got hit by a cog that took off 10 laff. I didn't need to be tooned but the one that originally riskied me tooned me. I thought that was nice. At the end we all danced and it went very good. At the end I said Well Done and You did it! The pig laughed but the cat didn't look too pleased. LOL!

don't let the haters bring you down! lol I get underestimated in level 3 buildings or against high level Street cogs because I'm a 33 laffer on a free account. It's about gags & Strategy C& besides you are sizzling at 71 laff points, like heck its too risky!

At 100+ laff I went in a building with 1 other person, who had just gotten out of the brrgh. And we had a level 12 boss, and we managed fine. [albeit it was hard, since she only had level 2 toonup at the time]

My point is, don't let others bully you.

I would do a building with you anytime. As long as you know your gags well it's easy. I actually feel that 3 or 4 70-90 laffers is perfect for 5 level buildings. I'm not sure why you would be in DDL at 70 laff, but I wouldn't care. Most toons over 100 laff are done with toontasks and probably not doing buildings, so I think you should expect most building toons to be under 100 laff.

My first 5 story building was when I was only 35 laff. Of course you can make it!!! I am a 107 laff now. And rarely gets sad.

That's not risky at all. I did mostly 5-story's for LOM and that was back in my 60's. I guess it was just someone trying to bug you. People are weird like that. An 80 laffer told me the CFO was too risky for my 109 duck who has a RB suit (finally). People get bored I guess. Who knows...

You did that building for a reason - for your tasks. My little bunny only has 69 laff and she does 5 buildings with little or no sweat.

At 71 Laffs, you should be getting DDL tasks (unless you've done a LOT of fishing, gardening, golfing, and/or racing). As long as you have the birthday cake and storm cloud, you should be fine. There's no need to have those maxed; it's more important that you can carry 7 each of cream pies and fire hoses.

As for that 90 Laffer who made that comment... I can think of only one reason for that (even at 107 Laffs, I'm told encounters are too risky for the same reason). Are you soundless?

I would gladly help any 70+ Laffer with a 5 story DDL building.

I agree with Patricia and the many others who've said similar things. I have a 50-something toon I've taken into 5-stories on several occasions. With a good team and someone with reliable lure, it's very do-able.
