Ya know, when you're done with LOM and his any 4-lvl bldgs anywhere, you have to do 8 more, and JUST in DDL, with their level 10-12 cog bosses. Enjoy it while it lasts.

lil oldman ... clearly, he's much more than he appears. Legends abound about his ancestry. I'm curious as to why no one has commented on the rumors circulating about him, some are quite intriguing. Reply back your thoughts on these ( I've listed them in what I perceive most plausible ) and any other rumors or theories you've developed yourself:

1) The link between space and time which powers the teleportation capabilities of toons ( and perhaps a gateway for us, player/humans, to discover mystic transport )

2) A informant for Cog Nation ( or a variant on this, he's a Cog himself and his abode is a front for another HQ )

3) Future inventor of the 8th lvl gag ( currently in development )

4) Liason between cogs and toons in an attempt to negotiate a truce for universal harmony ( a metaphor for world peace? )

5) A psuedo entity created by programmers to simply dispense tasks for toons to learn their final gag ( a stretch, I know, but I include it here considering the amazingly widely held perception on this one - but I don't buy it )

even though he had a bunch of tasks most of them were easy; fish two dice from a pond, find a frog in a pond. in my opinion he was helpful. i used to have lvl 5 gags b4 TB. in the end i had all lvl 6 gags when i got to DDL (b4 lvl 7's came out)

He is a tough bunny, I'll give him that and you can only get your last gag track through him. He's like simi-okay. Still he can get to you in the matter of 2-4 toontasks. Fish, Chesse, fighting high-level buildings all over the place to find some little thing? Yeah, you can clariffy him as crazy. But when you're done with all those tasks. You feel good. - He has a good heart trying to teach you something "You have t throw a pie with your heart not your hand (something like that)" eventhough he can't even make any sense out of his own word.

4 of my toons had already done with his tasks and I think the most painful would be the first one because I want to get off the Brrg and I was to rushing which result made myself more exhausted.

If I had taken my time and slowed it down, It wouldn't have been that bad. So take your time, enjoy you life under the sun while you can before get into the Darkest and sleepiest town, Donald Dream Land.

LOM is easy. Mister Stinky is on his LOM20. My friend and I (yes, two of us) went to a single Polar Place 5 level bldg filled with two dozen Lawbots for the wig's powder. Quick and painless. We both got megapoints for TU and she earned a piano. I think I used all 50 of my gags it was great.

By the way I did not get any new gags when doing his tasks. (Well, except a New Level 1 gag xD)

LOM is a great shopkeeper, the most important one in all our Toontown tasking.

I have a personal goal of acquiring cake, cloud, goggles, and elephant in time for DDL tasking, and LOM helps me reach that goal.

When I get to the LOM20 I rejoice. No more looking for specific cogs.

I now go one step better: 20 5-level bldgs with a big toon friend. They always need JNs or something. Or the small toons task (most common assignment for it is 25 4-level bldgs for big toons). Or max their TU or drop. These help us all get better gag points AND I get credit for it.

Good luck doing all gags on level 6 in time for DDL tasks!

Yes, I'm there, right in the middle of the 20 4-story buildings. I remember doing them back in Feb. with my 2 bigger toons. They're both 100+ now. It was much easier to do it with them because Their friends were much more dependable. With one of them, a friend and I did 31 buildings in one day. With the other, it took 2 days. Right now, I've been working for 2 days on the 20 buildings and have only 1/2 of them done. Toons bail out after 1 story - no explanation or warning at all - just throw a hole and go or say (on the 2nd floor) "sorry, I have to go'. Friends (?) say "I'll be right back" and when you whisper to them, you get "Sorry, I'm in a building". Someone brought a 20 laugher in a 5-story and spent so much time tuning him up, one of the others went sad. Of course, the fact that he kept using sound on the lured cogs or going for a different cog everytime didn't help!
I started playing in November and don't remember so many "difficult-to-tolerate-toons" before. I've been running into the same thing in the factory with my smaller toons. No wonder my 100+ friends aren't on much anymore. I've even tried taking my bigger toons on, thinking maybe they're just giving my smaller guys a hard time, but when they get in a building with a bigger toon, they refuse to contribute. Just stand there expecting a free ride! Maybe I'll cancel my account (I'm paid for a year) and join back up after school resumes.

Looks like your had a turn for the wost and haven't had an once of good luck lately. It should be over as soon as you are down with lil old man. Everything takes a turn for bad when you start lil old man for some reason. 0_o

When Toontown came out, LOM was a crazy old cook making you do crazy stuff for his chores. He wore a purple feathered pajama.

Now, Toontown changed his clothes and his attitude and it makes him sound like a coach now.
