I'm Not Sure Which to Pick

I'm fairly new to TT and must pick my last gag track. I have 57LP, toon up and lure. Should I choose the drop track or trap track?

This little piggy appreciates any advice!

Thanks,

V

Wink You should pick trap

Pick Trap because:
.Drop misses alot
.Trap needs lure, so you can use them in the battle, and get Exp. points for both of them
.If you lured a cog, drop won't hit him/them
.Trap takes a storter time to train then drop

Hope these sengestions help you!

Pick what you like That was my last choice, too, and I chose trap. I had both trap and drop on my old toon back in 2006, and drop was the last track that I maxed.

I really think its best to make it your own decision like Master SpikeG said.
I would read through this thread because it makes great points for both sides of the decision.
I personally prefer drop.

I've never actually had trap. I always pick drop b/c I worry that trap needs to rely on another player using lure to work. Or if your working alone and you use trap you have to wait a turn with the cogs attacking you before you can lure them. BUT, drop misses ALOT like most of the time, until you get to piano and it's not a strong as trap. But, once you get to piano you have at least some chance of being able to use it without assistance, unlike trap which always needs assistance. Also, drop goes last in the gag line up so it's hard to train b/c most times the cog you are fighting has already been defeated before your drop gets a chance to go. So all in all, I'd say choose trap. I'm picking trap on my newest toon and I'm excited. I think it'll work out better for me than drop.

I would say Trap because it is easier to train with.

Both rad gags. Both coolest 7s in my opinion. Honestly, it doesn't really matter, you cant go wrong! Both are wickid cool and both take some time to work! I like drop a little better though cuz its 7 is awesome but i like the traps reg gags more.

Well.

Trap can be quite easy when playing with a friend if you have sfs willing to train lure.

Drop can do a little bit better soloing.

I think drop is a bit easier to train because I like doing stuff independantly.

It's all in the personatilty.

Reasons why and whynot get Trap
-Just needs lure so you can use it anytime someone lures
-Needs lure so you need lure to train by yourself (Takes other toons to do it with no lure)
-Can take time to train
-Can annoy toons if using small trap to train in boss battles
-Hits high on cogs
Reasons why and whynot get Drop
-Misses a lot
-Hits high
-Doesn't need lure or other gags to use it (although squirt makes it more accurate)
-Since not accurate, can take time to train (Even more than trap) which can lead to frustration *yes this happened to me*

Thanks for all the input! In the end I chose trap. Mostly because the combination doesn't seem as common as others and, I can then use/train both (lure and trap) on my own if I have to.

Thanks again!!

I'd pick trap. My drop has taken me forever to train, and trap always seems to be used more. Just got trap on my new toon, so it's only up to marbles. But I think it's better, even if it is dependent on another gag. You either then work 2 gags, or have a friend help you like I'm doing.
