Sorry to hear about your situation.
Reading about people getting banned on the true friend chatting makes me NOT want to have true friends. I would just be so afraid of saying the wrong thing. Having your comments taking out of context etc. Anyway, I hope you get your toon up and running again! |

here's an easier suggestion. If u go on the website and just log on NOT PLAY BUT LOG ON, another page will appear. U have to put in ur ID username thing and ur parent password. It didnt work for bc my dad was using the wrong ID. Bc he thought it was something different than wat it actually was. =P |

Disney has many reasons to suspend/ban an account. It could be for bad language, personal information shown/interperted (spelled wrong? ), bad toon name(s), etc.
If you'd like to ask why, please E-Mail or call Disney and they will have the information recorded on why you have been suspended/ban from Disney's Toontown Online. |

What people don't understand is that Disney has the right to remove you from the game for any reason they deem is violent, rude, disturbing, or just annoying. Therefore, anything can happen. |

being suspended or banned

I have many adults that I regularly play with. We talk about our day, family, work, health etc. There has been a few times our chat has not gone thru and it's strange why at times. <snip> I agree that Disney has made it safe as can be for kids to have SF's but taking conversations in context are important. I've had SF's who have told me their age, names, and just about where they live...and I HAVE NEVER ASKED THEM!!!! I tell them NO..I dont' need to know that info..it's OK...lets just play toons...but some just type it out anyways. SIGH That is one reason I think parents should sit with their kids even when playing TT to make sure they aren't saying what they shouldn't. I was told by one SF that 'you can get around the bloops easily' sigh, this from a kid we try to protect. Doc Who was just sent a letter about her profile listing location...which she has changed. Be careful out there folks cause you want to make sure everyone is safe....even if you use general broad info ...be safe. Last edited by Zilly; 05-29-2008 at 05:32 AM. Reason: Non-G |

suspensions
Although I have never been suspended i have had several friends that have been. They all knew the reason they were suspended. The main reasons were giving out personal information like full name and/or age, email information, bad language, and inappropriate subject matter. They each recieved an email from Disney that contained a transcript of the conversation that got them suspended. So go back to your email and reread it.....Disney is just trying to protect all of us from unpleasant experiences.

i have only been playing since Feb 08 and to date have not been suspended, I am now worried about what I type to my sis and best friend who are my only TF on TT. It sounds like its a mine field out there.
I do think that perpetual stinkers should be dealt with as this is starting to ruin the game for me. (maybe i need to give it a break) one experience was a toon who did not want to use the sound gag in the mints even though he had it and two experienced toons gave him a hard time and wanted to see him go sad. I can partly understand it as he was annoying me to, but he said sorry several times and lets use sound, which they agreed to. When he engaged the cogs they held back and when i joined him they whispered to me to stop that. It felt like bullying to me. The 2nd incident was today, when chatting to my sister in DDL playground when a toon of 121 laffs started haveing a go at her, then others joined in. We are adults but my 6 year old neice sometimes plays the same charater and this would have really upset her, (It upset me). Can they be reported or am I over sensitive ![]() This is my first post, so please be nice |
