lol I knew it was going to happen eventually. I gave out my email address (because my account was ending and I wanted to talk to some sfs) and yep, got suspended. Soo my question is, can I get my account back without calling Toon Town?
My parents don't know I play tt.. everyone thinks I quit 3 yrs ago and I'd like to keep it that way. Its going to ruin it if ToonTown calls...  My account ended today so its not like I could play anyway but I'd like to renew eventually. Is there a way to get around it? Like buying a new account and transferring my toons? |

I think you can email to toontown, but im not sure.
I would atleast try to call toontown, because that is the best way as I know... I have never been suspended or have called toontown, but one of my sfs has and they cleared it up with a call.. I am pretty sure toontown will understand why you gave out your email. hope this helps, DB |

Wow you get suspended the same day your account ends? Weird.
I think you have to call to get it back. And if you want sfs to know your info, send them a PM if they have an account here. If not, then disguise it somehow. Don't write it out. Advice for next time. Well, if you're suspended and not coming back now, then I'll probably x you if I need room. Let me know when you come back. Gonna miss you, you were fun to play with.

Ugh I Got Banned
I really don't know why it is their right to ban us. SF chat is the only reason Toontown is very fun, could you imagine talking to randoms all the time? How could what we say affect anyone? I'm thinking of calling Disney and complaining. What could I say? Should I even call?

Tbh, I don't quite agree with a lot of their rules either. I do think we deserve more SF chat freedom, especially because not everyone is 5 and without parental guidance. But the truth is there are people that are young and their parents don't watch them, and Disney is making the right legal moves to prevent from getting in big trouble. Even a big dinosaur like Disney has a weakness. If you really want to talk "inappropriately" (by Disney's standards), chat on an IM. If you're not allowed to, then you probably shouldn't be able to on Toontown either. And if you can't give out your SN on TT, well that's your problem for being friends with completely random people.

This is exactly why i don't like having SFs. You never know what will get you banned! Some of the reasons have seemed really silly so even though i think it makes the game more fun, I try to avoid becominf SFs with anyone except my real friends who play

Just FYI...
As I recall, you MUST contact Toontown by PHONE at 866.933.6263 (9am to 10pm ET, Mon-Fri) with your parents (unless you are over 18) if you want to have your account reinstated. There is no way to do this by e-mail that I know of. Comments via e-mail should be sent to community@disneyonline.com & CC'd to toontown@disneyonline.com --be warned that they probably will not listen via E-mail. I was suspended back in March...haven't since. Watching what I say online. Was banned for PI...even though I was talking to a real life friend. Ironic, eh? CPWC |

Aww I can't believe you have to use the phone. I guess thats the end of Toontown for me.
Oh and uh, do they send you an email saying that you're suspended and more importantly, WHY? I'm super nervous about it going to my parents inbox because I had their email address as it before.. Hopefully it won't

If the parent of a 5 year old chooses to let TT do their babysitting then they should tolerate any consequences of them possibly seeing a naughty word.
Maybe we should have a SF turn off button so that when the 5 year old is playing our toon... I think that personal info shouldn't be given out, but I should be able to say my daughter "X is running my toon for a few while I fold laundry", "send me an emale," or that "CCG is doing a CEO run at 10 your time" without getting suspended. I think that if they detect a problem such as in my case a time or a first name. They should then read the message & find out more info before giving us 3 days. The person I was talking to obviously already has my email address as I didn't give it out. The sf knows my children's names & I was making arrangements to meet in TT not in real life! Oh & my Doodle's name is also a popular place. Can I not say my doodle's name now? I got suspended on a Friday too late to call & ask why & I never got an email explaining why. I found out trying to sign in. |
