Cause it sure seems like it. I've lost 5 traps already because at the last second someone chooses a gag that destroys the cog. I even said "I'm going to use trap" (when they joined the battle I started! ).

Oh well. Anyone else had a hard time training trap?

usually thats because they are either young or are new to the game.I hate when that happens even though I don't have trap.I think it's some of the free members that are doing it because they were stuck in TTC and now invading all of TT.

I never had a problem working trap but then again this was before invasions invaded, so there was really no one to bother me and kill my cog. When I worked it being in a quiet district or busy one equaled same exp.

Yeah. I guess I can't complain because I wanted trap. I love it but this just ruins it.

Me too . Trap and drop are the hardest gag to train. Also, since, other toons don't like when they are used. Since drop has a low chance of hiting, and trap you need lure or a buddy that has one. BUT they are the strongest. Toons just rather find it annoning. I don't, but it is still kind-off hard.

Most toons (including myself) sometimes underestimate their gags. They think that there will be enough when they forget there are lure bonuses or that the gag they used is organic. (This is actually talking mainly about sound, isn't it?)

Of course, if lure misses and there were 2 b-days flying at your cog, it wasn't their fault. They thought it would have worked out. I hate when it happens that my sound misses and then everyone gets the hit because the extra points the sound would have given doesn't affect the cogs and all goes wrong.

Being trapless, I can't know exactly how you feel, but I can relate.

If I were you, I wouldn't complain too much. Just think if you had drop.
I know, because I choose drop for my first toon and it took forever to max.
Picture this: by the time it was my turn to drop the flower pot, the cog was already gone...

Oh I know. I have drop on two other toons. It took me a few years to get the piano.

It is different with drop. You don't lose your gag and get no credit.

I'm having a VERY hard time training trap. 101 laff and still marbles. I try to find SFs who would like to help me, but so far I've failed. Well, anyways, good luck on getting the next trap gag!

I'm a 109 laffer, almost 110 and I still have the trap door to finish training (I skipped lure) so I do truely feel your pain.

I know what you mean, I'm a 117 laffer, and I still haven't maxxed trap. Good luck training it!

I have maxed lure, so I've been doing a lot of solo buildings to train my trap. Slow going, and I sometimes come out with only 15 or 20 laff (out of 93), but it's getting there. Best way is to try and find a friend with lure to train with. Good luck. Don't give up.

best way get a friend do bldgs in river work ur trap drop whatever u need you can easily get 120 to 160 in a 4 story if you have a patient friend the max of 200....
