We just received the latest newsletter, and on the frontpage there is mention of visiting Innkeeper Janet for a special task to receive a "boost".

I ran over, and she doesn't give me anything like that Is there something special that I am supposed to say?

I went over with my toon - 68lp. I also had both my daughters run over as well - 56lp and 50lp. None of us were able to get the task mentioned in the newsletter .

Any ideas?

Looked it up and found this:

Innkeeper Janet
From Elm Street, look for Dew Drop Inn to talk to Innkeeper Janet.

She will ask you to deliver a Salad to one of these three Shopkeepers: Bert in Bert's Dirt of Maple Street, Budd of Budd's Birdseeds in Elm Street, and Jake of Jake's Rakes in Maple Street.

-Kill 10 Cogs in Daisy Gardens.
-Go to Innkeeper Janet.
REWARD: 1 Laff Point

AFAIK, you can only get that task if your working PG is DG. I've done it before, but I don't think you can go back and pick up that task. Sorry.

That's highly unfair..Now toons would have to make a new toon just to get that 138 lp?

Its just a regular task you get in Daisy Garden. We've all done it if we've passed DG.

lol, I think what the other people are trying to say is that you always get that task when you're in DG. The newsletter only mentioned it for TTC-DD working toons that don't actually know about it. xD

That is one of the standard toontasks in DG. If you have already finished the tasks in that plyaground then you have the laff they are referring to. Everyone gets it. It isn't a new added laff.

Yeah they should have worded it a different way. I did the same thing. I ran over there but nothin happened.

Here's y: In the newsletter, theyre talking about when ur actually working in DG thats one of the toontasks u can get. Defeate 10 cogs and then go back to her for a laff boost. If you're already out of DG then u cant go back and get it.

Yeah, it's no Halloween jellybean party. Just mentioning special shopkeepers. Like in one newletter they mentioned the shopkeeper that gives you teleport access to Donald's Dock. All they're doing is recognizing some cool shopkeepers. I'd like to see Lil Oldman in there.
