How to tell if they're free or paying

I have only just noticed this.. but you can actually tell if someone pays for Toontown or is Free...

Look at your username, if you pay, you have a slightly nice Username that is more close together, but look at some other people, they have a standard username.

That is how I know if someone is free/member

I think so anyway..

someone correct me if im wrong :P

Yeah, the fonts were changed. That's right but.... Paying members can buy that font and others, some like it better, so some of the standard fonted names can be paying members. =)

Well, another way is to (if they are a higher toon, 110 ect. in laff) see if they have all their gags maxxed. When they use a gag, it will show something that says "Guest Limit" and the number of points given in total (ex. 4239 skill points on throw).

I've seen this before in Toontown,

Your all correct.

The members have a "bouncing" almost comical username. The Free Members have the standard Impress BT font. Though, they can be changed to Impress BT if your a member anyway, so it's not always the case.

Another way to tell is by going into a building on a street different than TTC. If they follow, they're a paying member. If they can't go in or do whatever else a paying member can, then they are free. But yes, a different font automatically makes them a paying member, so that's the easiest to do. It's nice to know when you're getting friend requests.

Well, we all were new to Toontown or had a new toon at one point in time. But, the easiest parts of Toontown happens at the beginning.

I'm a paying member too, but I've just a standard font name, because that's the name I've chosen in my free trial period. So you can think that i'm a free member, but free members cannot have 79 laff points, right? No one can score so many laff points in only 3 days...

And, when you go to their house, and you see more houses with a name on it, it means that they're a paying member too. Because you can't make more than one toon if you're a free member.

There is some toons with more than 100lp and who never paid (it's free forever since a few months in TTC only) and with the VIP access.

Huh, but how can you finish toontasks if you can't go to other playgrounds? You need finish toontasks to get so many laff points.. Only with fishing, racing and golfing you can't receive that much, or am I wrong??

(Don't look at my horrible grammar)

Everyone who is a paying member automatically gets the new font. So if you did not intentionally buy the basic font then you have the member font. And also obviously members can buy other fonts too. Also, the free trial period is unlimited not just three days. But your right you cannot get to 79 laff in the free trial b/c you can't really do many if any tasks for playgrounds other than TTC. BUT someone may have high laff but may no longer be paying for their account. They would still have access to the toon they worked up if it was in the middle top slot.

Wrong.... Err paying members can rebuy original name tags so that actually means nothing.

Although I think most members will eventually find a font they like, after all once you have loads of them what else you goona do with your JB's

Actually, ToonTown for free members was expanded. So, that's not actually true anymore. Free toons can go almost anywhere. It used to be like that, you know...But it changed. So yeah. You can't tell it by that either. But just look at gags laff and nametag and you can pretty much figure it out.

I was meaning if they can fish, golf, go in buildings/facs/mints/etc, then they are paying. If they say they can't, then they are free. Does that help?
