Heres another way to tell (and I think we all know this one) is seeing if they make an animal sound (cat goes meow, dog goes woof, etc.) meaning they are sf chatting. If they do, they payed! If they don't, you'll have to figure it out, using the other methods.

Free players can do buildings in Toon Town Central

I saw a few buildings and a bunch of free players when in the lift

I think free members' gags can only go up to Level 5. So, if I start a new account and try to make an uber, I can only train my gags up to Level 5, not all the way up to Level 7. Also, if your account somehow loses its membership status, you won't be able to get anymore Level 7s (if you've maxed a gag track) because that's over the guest limit.

And, I think to members, the member name-tag is free. For free accounts, you have to pay 500 jellybeans to get it.


Yup, that is a way to tell them if they are free, or paying.

Also, if you do a cog battle with a toon, look and see if it says "Guest Limit" when you get the gag expirence points. This will tell you if they are paying, or not.

Free accounts CAN'T get the member username font

I found THE solution. It's a glitch.

When a member has the Basic tag, click on him and on Toon details. If it's a paid member then he'll keep his font, if it's a free member he'll have a member tag.

Thanks to free acess, it's been confusing, but if they have 25 laff or under and have the original nametag, they are likely a trialer.
