Free Access Expansion Megathread

I am now an unsubscribed free person, but after I heard about the free person expansion, I was thrilled. It is actually really pathetic, because the only thing you can do is fight street cogs. You can't even go in facs or buildings? They really aren't giving people much more

They made it so you want to go into the buildings/facs so you want to subscribe.

Well if they let you go into buildings etc, what would be the point of everyone else paying?

Exactly. Plus seeing what everyone else is doing will make some people subscribe. But I think most of them want to subscribe, but can't for whatever reason. Then again, for those new to TT it's a good way to see what you're paying for.

The free access exspand is dumb because if you barley start an acount you cant get finnal gag track for your third gag and you can onley make one toon.They should have left it the way it was.

Free-Expanded is for the people who want to try out the toontown and it will help them make a decision whether to stay or not. It's not for people to play forever that's why those things are limited for free-account.

I think the new free-expanded is a good idea. I was wondering who would want to subscribe if they could see only TTC. Now they can go look everywhere but can't touch which i think will help people to make a decision easier.

It's a marketing plan to maximize Toontown's profit.

Free Expanded was really for people to try out Toontown.
If they like it, then they join Toontown and become a member.

I'm pretty sure Disney made a good choce about this. Now, on a free account, you can get a third laff point because you can fish wherever you want. And, now all the people who are thinking about buying ToonTown will be more convinced. The more the merrier!

Free access expanded is not a bad thing. They will probably do this for a little bit longer, and then it will be over. But, what if your friend has a free account, and that person can't go out of TTC? Well, now she/he can. And, those low laffers are sometime really nice people that just really want to fit in. Those low laffers might be the next top tooner or something.

So, really, it is not that bad about it. Let's just all have fun while we can with these toons, because, the low toons are really nice to us, and we need to treat them the same way.

Exactly Right. I used to be a 31 stuck in TTC, too. I know how it feels and trust me it hurts bad

I guess it is better but i still liked it better when non subscribed toons couldnt go outside of TTC.

I wish that people (not saying everyone) would stop complaining about the free access expansion. I have a free account with only about 30 laff points, and before, I could not even get out of TTC. That made me upset because I could not play side-by-side with my friends that are members. I am happy that at least we can look outside of TTC for once. And for people who are saying that newbs are 'attacking' non-TTC areas, be aware that you were a newb. Free members still can't do much, either way (no non-TTC buildings, no non-TTC tasks, no cattelog, no factories/mints/DAs/CGC, no VP/CFO/CJ/CEO, TTC-only doodles, 1 toon although before you could have 2, barely any cog buildings because of the non-TTC buildings rule and there are not many cog buildings in TTC, and soooooo much more). I will be happy when I get a subscription.
