Free accesss is not meant for people to use forever and to have unlimited access to everything. If they let free toons to everything paying toons could then there would be no reason to pay and TT would be a free game which is never going to happen b/c disney is a big corporation and all they care about is money money money. The updated free access is simply to convince and motivate more people to pay for toontown instead of just sticking arounf for free. Be happy you get unlimited time to play. Back when I frist joined the free trial was only for three days. And even that, I think was more than sufficient.

I'm 43 laff(I know its pitiful) and I tried my free account toon. The free account toons cant go in any cog buildings, friendly buildings, the toon hq in the neighborhood, or even get gags at the gag shop. TT is very smart in giving the free account toons a look at what they can do if they buy it. If they let them go to the neighborhoods they could at least give them the option of having 1 TF. They can also go in the cog hq and only battle the cogs in the open.

I was for almos a half year and I agree with you 100%, it did hurt.

Yeah, they've "opened" it up to Free Toons now, but not by much. Like Beez... said, Disney is very smart with money and limiting people in doing certain things. You can barely do anything at all in the new playgrounds. It's like having an Ice Cream when it's 110 degrees outside, but you can only stare at it. No matter how much you want it, you can't get it unless you buy it. Much like Toontown.

Prolly Somewhere around 4 months but i had 30 laff by my first month

Noobs everywhere...almost. It's crazy. There are young toons everywhere that are battling cogs on the streets. I have to say, I hear a lot more wah-wah-wah's on the street than I did before the free member access was expanded. Like many other people said tho, the main purpose was to get people to see more of ToonTown but not so much so they could still convince them to be a paying member. It doesn't seem to be working tho, just seems like there are more free members.

I think they are promoting Toontown since VMK is closing May 21st, so now they are just trying to get people not sad that VMK is closing.

i think the people who don't pay should just be grateful that they can actually go to different playgrounds and streets now, and they need to stop complaining that they don't get to do every single thing that a member can. because that's basically what everyone is so mad about, and it doesn't make sense.

Right, so now you have tons of 3-year-olds jumping in front of you when you try to fish, following you around saying you stink because you wont go to lawbot with them, tying up the gag sellers, joining street battles in high level neighborhoods and standing there doing nothing while you have to wait the timer out each round etc.....
