Well, considering that this is a G-Rated game, I think that it's the safest way to go. I'm sure many people would swear in the game and so on. I feel that since this is a G-Rated game, it fits right in.

I do find it annoying. Yes it's a g rated game and children should absolutely be protected. But there are still ways to have safe open chat. Like even now if your sfs with someone and they swear it does not appear on your screen. It's like they said nothing. And if you swear it does not appear on their screen. All those words are auto blocked. So they could also have things like locations auto blocked and just certain buzz words that you cannot say. It would be just as safe but it would be SOO much easier to get your point across. When you aren't sfs with people it's harder to stratagize with the team and it's hard to let people know if you just have to leave for a second or let them know why it is that you cannot help them at a particular time. Like I watched my little niece play club penguin a while back and it seems to me that open chat is allowed there.. as far as I can remember anyway. SO why not on tt? Club penguin is geared completely at little kids.

I feel kinda fun finding the right phrase on the speed chat. It's much more fun than open chat that I rarely SF anyone.
SpeedChat is also good for little kids. Since they don't really know how to form the sentence of even phrase yet, speedchat will be very useful for them to communicate with others. It also keeps those kids safe from revealing any of their personal information. As you can see from other games that peope always complain about their accounts get hacked. Actually it's becase they tell their passwords to their friend who they think the best friend ever even though they only know them from the game. I think It works atleast with my cousin's parents. |

I don't mind having limited chat with non sfs because there are quite a few people I don't want reading what I'm saying, however, I do wish they wouldn't filter what is being said between sfs. I say so many things that always get me suspended that never did before, its between me and my sfs... if they're okay with it, why cant I use em? Toontown can be safe but fun, too. I don't like how you're not allowed to chat with randoms and then when you have the chance to sf chat you have to watch your every move.

By the time I get my sentence done I could be done with an entire 9! |

And yeah, I was okay with it before I started to sf chat myself. It doesn't bother me unless they're trying to bug you or taking up room on the screen. |

I thought it was fun before I new about sf cha. I don't know why but it made the game harder(a little). SF chatting is more fun than for temwork I guess. Toontown has almost all the right phrases to get along in the game 100%.
Phrases that could be added i'd say would be... Sorry i'm in a cog boss battle! An AFK one to say your gone I'm going to use sound. i'm going to use toon-up. The last two aren't in the game but should be because I see people say lets use sound but no toon-up just I need a toon-up, and lets use toon-up. I think before I knew about sf chat it was fun though... |
